I said this morning that I think I have to go to the hospital for an epidural The AF pains are killing me today!!

Strikkie, I see the girls are saying you're going to the FS this month? When are you going?

I wanted to do a monitored cycle this month, but it's going to have to wait for next month as our car broke last week and it cost us almost R2000 to fix, so I wont be able to pay for the scans and meds this month.

Tanasha, if your temp dropped this morning, maybe that means you're going to ovulate during the day/tonight? If not, they'll probably give you the trigger shot tomorrow. And I think you can decide yourself if you want to do the shot yourself or if you want them to do it. Just remember that you have time your BD according to the shot, so it's probably better to do it at night...

aisharsl, welcome to our group. May your stay be short. May I ask, are you with a normal gynae or a fertitlity specialist? I can't understand how he/she could tell you to take the Ovidrel shot on CD12 if you've got such a long cycle. Especially seeing that you took the Clomid so late (CD5 - 9?). You should definately insist on a follicle scan next time around like Lalie said.

Ok, so i phoned Dischem to find how much the Ovidrel will cost and it's R335.00 and i guess i will do it myself or get hubby to do it after we've seen what size the follicles are..

Lalie - thanks - I'll be sure to update you all, appointment is at 15h00 so I'll go home afterwards, but I can update later in the evening or first thing in the morning on Thursday.

Gonna pack up and go home, hopfully the rain holds out till I get in I am not in the mood to walk in the rain!

Tanasha - it's difficult to say - not everyone experiences ovulation pain so you could be ovulating perfectly fine and not feel a thing! Other people feel pains, especially when your on treatment. But just keep on bding for in case, it's also pains aren't always a sign that you are ovulating, it could be a sign that you've already ovulated as the corpus luteum causes pain as well!
