hi girls - halz, just in terms of the FS. I went to Dr. Pentz at kloof. His initial consultation was R650 and he then charged R250 per consult (when he actually charged us). We saw him 5 times and he only charged for the initial consult and for one scan thereafter. I could not really figure out how his rates worked. But it was cheaper for us to drive 300kms to pta and do the scans by him, than paying my (much loved) gynea in my hometown.

After our prognosis from a MD, Gynea and Eurologist was IVF with ICSI - with his help (and ofcourse God's blessing) we fell pregnant after just 2 iui's...He is kinda awkward, and lotsa ppl do not like him - but for us the proof of the pudding is the dough rising in the oven

AFM: CD29 today, think it's about 12 DPO if I calculated correctly and AF type pains are all gone, (.)(.) still feel a little sensitive though but I'm don't want to give my hopes up. I did do HPT this morning and it was BFN so I'm pretty sure the fertile XX lenghtened my cycle and if I go according to my LP, AF should be here Sunday. If it's not here by around next week Wednesday or so then I'll test again, but I truly feel that we'll probably be going to FS next week some time to start with our 3rd and possibly final IUI

Well my dh did not go for his SA on Sat. He was sick And we had a huge fight that w/end bout absolutely nothing. And I think he didn't go just to prove a point.
So this week was our fertile week and guess what..we had a mini argument last night and he 'by accident' 'fell asleep' in my daughters room. Which I don't buy for one second and should I confront him he'll just get angry, say I'm over reacting, he really fell asleep there blah blah blah. So howcome after I went to bed he gets up to go to the bathroom and goes and sleeps in her room again. BS if you ask me.
So now I'm considering going back onto BCP (my skin looks horrifying) and in anyway, he's the one who wanted to ttc.
Please don't get me wrong, another child would be just as loved as the other 2 but I'm not going to be the only one making a serious effort for something he wanted in the first place.

Hayley... Dr Hogewind is in Pta and he is a FS. Laliek I think goes to him? he charges R830 for the first consultation and R500 thereafter.. I dont know if that is a bit hectic for you? I agree with your hubby though, maybe you should just skip the gynae and go straight to a FS. You have been TTC for so long all ready... Are you still going to the homeopath?
