you have caught me off guard today so I am crying as I am reading this, having a bit of an emotional day, I think I am just tired, havent slept much in the last two days. But thank you for your support, I am so glad that you researched the syndrome. All I want is for people to know about and be aware of it. I also had never heard of it before, but apparently it is a very "common" syndrome but mommies dont know about it because they miscarry before they find out.

There are many support groups overseas and the families really interact with each other, but here in SA there arent any. I have come into contact with a mommy whose little girl has passed and we just want to reach out and get into contact with other families that are going through the same thing, even it is a different syndrome like Trisomy 13/Patau syndrome - this is also a very severe syndrome and deemed incompatible with life. We just want others to know that they are not the only ones out there

Butterflies, I just read your whole blog then went onto google and read about the condition and read other ppl's stories as well. Needless to say I have been super unproductive at work today!

But...wow...I don't even know what to say. I'd never heard of this condition until now. You are soooooo strong and sooooo amazing. You are a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the power of love...I am trying not to cry at work! How you & DH deal with so much emotion each &every day cos one other thing that struck me was when u said the one day was so hard, your 15yr old started crying as well. you have FIVE other children to tend to and worry abt and the seeing them deal with the emotions must also be very hard.& how she shows granny what to do when the baby had a seizure/stopped breathing...

wow, I am in awe of you & your family. That's all I can say! Happy 9 months to Lior!!!(or is it belated already? ) He's a fighter.May you he be part of that 10% that make it to their 1st bdays and beyond! (see, done my research )
