They seems they all be do things differently and at different prices.

Kristin, I would also have left without paying that amount. Its a pity though as Storks Nest is such a nice place to go to for the check ups etc

I took Muneeb for his 6 week vaccine at Stork's Nest. He got the normal 2 injections plus the pnemecoocal (however you spell it) plus the Rotavirus all for free. They do however charge a fee at the Stork's Nest. I paid R110.

with my 2 year old I did the 6 in 1 at 8 weeks but found that the normal ones were exactly the same. Just that the normal ones were free.

Justine the Storks Nest at Netcare Blaauwberg only do private now and it's over R1000. I went there for the 10 weeks and had to leave slightly embarrassed when told the price. I need to stretch my medical aid savings as far as possible. I actually made the pharmacy reverse everything when I saw the price! Being a Mom teaches you to swallow your pride in a hurry!
