Yaz can you provide any more details like the name of the head of the ward, when it happened exactly, how many nurses on duty etc. You mention they are trying to cover it up - who? hospital administration?

I'm just talking to a journalist friend who also has contacts and she's just going to let me know if there is anything that can be done from that angle.

Oh and any other info you may have in the form of other incidents.

They are trying to shut them mom up and keep making cheap excuses. They obviously take advantage of the fact that many parents are not well educated about their rights as patients and try to intimidate them.

Marilu, no they are not being checked on, neither at night nor during the day. The state hospitals/ clinics are chronically understaffed

Heart breaking. These so called nurses need to be reported and something needs to be done.
I cannot believe some people can behave in such a manner, sickening.
