:( :(  Tinti i am sooo sorry about what hapnd,i read the post and had to calm down first b4 responding,i am shocked, disgusted and dissapointed, you trusted her with your baby,it is hard enough leaving your baby with a nanny to go to work and now to find out this has been hapning, you must feel violated along with your little girl,i will keep you in my prayers that ur the test results stays negative,as for the culture thing, yes, one would not have a problem if you have a consent for her to breast feed your baby, but there was no consent.

I agree with Vamo,i would def have pinned her down and drew blood from her, locked her in a closet, untill i got the tests back, but then again it would not have changed anything, seek legal advice, cant she get arrested?????

I am soooo sorry(((((((((((((((hugs to u and ur lg)))))))))))))))))))))))))

I'm sitting here thinking of all the things I would have done to this woman, and I just keep thinking it's not enough. I don't know HOW you managed to act that rationally in a situation like that... somebody mentioned a murder trial??? Yeah, that'd probably be us... yet it still does not feel it's enough punishment for what this woman did!!

Ok first of all this woman is sick and twisted. I am beyond words on this one.

I guess I envy you for acting so rational. I would have pinned her down while I drew blood on her WITHOUT HER CONSENT. Then lock her in the closet while I waiting for the results.

Naomicee....I hear you and I have heard of that too but NOT NOW IN THIS AGE OF HIV/AIDS! I also asked myself the same question...is there law against this? can't she be arrested. But again you have more serious things to focus on, like LO's health at this stage.

Like the Glas are saying, don't wait for two months. Ask your Doctor if LO can't be put on ARVs.

I am so sorry that you are going through this. Just hang in there.

  I've also read this post a couple of times, just to make sure I got this right!! I really am praying with you that there is nothing wrong with your baby, good luck with the tests.

THe culture thing, I remember donkey years ago, my gran used to tell us that when she was kid ( so you can imagine just how long ago this was), it used to be done, only if the mom had passed on, or doesn't have enough milk, then either the mother's sister, sometimes mother would do it. It's still gross but I mean, they probably didn't have formula in those days.

Can you not have this woman arrested or something, what she did put your child at risk!
In this day age who does not know the risks involved in something this stupid? This by far, is the most disrespectful thing someone could do to a mother.I really am sorry you're going through this. One more thing, if you don't mind my asking, where the hell did you find this woman? I'm shocked!

I have had the same reaction as RM - I opened this thread a few times and each time went WTF? and didn't know what to say.

I am not sure why/hhow someone thinks it's ok to cross a personal boundary like that.

If I was baby sitting a friends baby and she was upset I wouldn't for a second consider trying to console her with a boob in her mouth. I may offer her a bottle if mom couldn't get back in time with her boob but I would never ever even think about doing it

I am sorry you have had to experience this. I would have reacted exactly the same way but may have done bodily harm to her :(
