Ann I'm so sorry about your friend's cousin's LO, that is heartbreaking. I didn't hear about the babies in CPT - was it also fever?

I'm not 100% ok with vaccinations because I know there are risks, but I still have my son vaccinated because I think the diseases they protect against are worse than the possible risks (and chances of them developing) of vaccinating.

I always give my son some Calpol after his vaccinations to help with fever and I keep an eye on him.

Do you know the full story of this LO? When did the fever start and when did they try and treat it?

Everyone knows about the two babies who died in CPT last week after getting their vaccinations?

One of my good friends cousin who stays in JHB took her baby yesterday for his vaccination, he developed a fever and he died last night.

I am supposed to take my son next week and I dont want to, what must I do?

I cant imagine what she must be going through.
