I've only seen it at Dischem, usually right at the top of the formula shelves. At about R400/400g tin.

Hi Meags.
You can get it at Dischem Pharmacies or order it directly from Nutricia Pharmaplan (nutricia@pharmaplan.co.za 011 652 0979) they will deliver it to your place.

Girls I am coming to SA in December. Where can I buy Neocate from? Do I need a script?

Paisely had you tried Neocate?? it is only amino acids. That is what Matt is on now (well the version of it here) and he's doing ok I suppose. His poo was fine for the first 10 days but now I see the diarrhoea is back. I am hoping it is teething related and not from the formula.

Meags, our lil munchkin is also VERY allergic to soy, cows milk, egg and maize. So... try finding a formula that does not contain soy, maize or cows milk! We had him on every formula imaginable, and he just kept getting asma and had digestive problems.

So eventualy we reverted back to the good old S26 gold that has no soy and no corn starch and (on reccomendation of our pead and a friend) put colief drops in the milk. The colief breaks down the lactose. And honestly his asma cleared up within 2 days.

Also be very careful of hidden cows milk in other products (if you are feeding solids).

Best of luck... it took us about 2 months to find relief for our baba, and now we are not looking back!
