My boy is 15 months and people are always trying to play with him or touch him, I honestly don't care if I upset people by telling them to bugger off - seriously the once this lady said I'm only playing (on top of trying to dish out unwanted advise), I asked if she had kids, answer was no, so I handed her my cell number and said here when you have kids of your own and are then qualified to give advise call me. That shut her up!

But I am para about people touching him because now twice in Cavendish I've had people try to take him! A lady once and then a man. Gees I flipped my lid at that, and seriously I can get REALLY agro!

The thing that irritated me most was when Mignione was still a small baby, MIL LOVED pushing manlief's sister's baby's face (she was 1year old at that time) into Mignione's face...telling her to kissy my baby. I FREAKED. Has anyone heard about germs?? And that after she knew that MIgnione contracted every germ possible if anyone only sneezed in the room nextdoor. I only fumed silently until one day the baby actually smacked Mignione in her face. I do understand that she was still small but then DON'T GET THE TWO CLOSE TOGETHER DUH???!!!!! After that incident I open my mouth every time she still tries to do it. And yes, she still pushes their faces together EVERYTIME we visit!!

I have a terrible family fight going on because i "wouldn't let" a certain person hold my baby...

When Stefan was 10 days old, we asked my sister in law to come and do a photo session with for us. She came very willingly to our house, set up lights background and everything. It was great. Then we undressed him and after the first few pics, he started crying. Like any new mother would have done, I reached for him, she reached for him at the same time, and I said: "don't worry he propably just wants his mommy" I comforted him and we went on like nothing happened.

After the photo session, I started noticing that she (who is not a mommy yet) is treating him very differently from the ohter kids in the family. Almost like she is avoiding him, and she started be offish to me to.

A while back we had a difference of opinion about something else and I realised that she really dislikes me. When my hubby spoke to his brother about it, we eventually found out what caused the problem. She thought I didn't want her to hold my baby and was really hurt. This because of something I didn't even realise I did!!

I think she is just childish and now I have stopped caring about what she thinks and how she treats my baby.

I don't mind coming accross as rude, but I tell people (ask whatever) to not touch my kids. My older kids will ask people themselves, people actually get annoyed. But what is th epoint to teach our kids it is wrong to be touched by strangers or not to talk to strangers when they see you just shut up when a stranger touches them/their baby brother or sister?

That also really annoys the hell out of me. I dont actually know why people feel the need to stroke or hold other people's baby. I never ever did that to another mommy. I just comment on how cute the baby is and thats it. No touching or kissing baby.

My FIL saw K play with usthe one time. K loves to look at our mouths and she likes to just put her fingers in whenever me or DH are talking. Now because its me and DH I am not too fussed. FIL now tries to get K to put her fingers in his mouth Eeeewwwww! I almost fainted when I saw it. I dont know how to deal with that. So far, I have just been taking K away as soon as I see that he is about to take her fingers or I take K's hands and tell her to clap handies :) Lol!

Any help in dealing with this is welcome. It would have been easier if he was a stranger coz I could just tell him to Fluck off! But it gets tricky when its family :)

Haha, I was in checkers the other day and a lady I've never seen before in my life takes my LG's teething ring and bites on it and gives it back to her, uhm. Well as soon as she was out of sight I took it from LG with the idea to go and wash it at home but I don't remember which one it is anymore.

But usually I'm not too fased about these things. No one tries to hold her anymore because she's had severe stranger anxiety from about 10 weeks of age and cried for everyone and now that she is fine with people she knows I don't really care.

I'm so laid back I'm falling over :D hahaha
