My stepsister and stepbrother allowed their girls to get belly rings when they were - wait for it and I'm not kidding - in Grade 2! The one girl's piercing became septic as well.

We don't realize what we are doing to our bodies when we are young and irresponsible

i got chloe's done when she was 3months and i am so happy i got them done

each to their own thats what makes us all unique.

gosh does seem like i was the only one who done it

I wouldn't do it. Would you poke your child with a needle? Just because you don't do it yourself doesn't make it better.

It's just not for me. Kayla has asked for earrings and I told her that she could get if she wants and that I would take her and she asked me whether it would be sore and I was honest with her. I told her it's sore, but it quick and I told her how it's done. She's now decided that she would wait until she's older.

P.s. I don't judge hey - just my opinion.

I hate the marks on my ears. I never wear earrings now. I also hate the mark on my belly button and I hate my tattoo.

I had my ears pierced when I was about 3. But for some reason, putting holes in my child's skin gives me the heeby-geeby's. So I'm with LizeP, will do it when she asks (though if she asks too early, she's going to have to wait!)
