I have a little girl and had hers done at 9months, one scream and it was all done. I think it's pretty thus had it done.

I would wait until she was old enough to make the choice for herself. They are her ears, and she should be the one to make the decision!

I would wait too :) I was thinking that maybe when she is 6 years old. I guess i am also too chicken to watch them do that to my poor baby LOL!

I don't like it, but that is personal choice.

I don't have a daugher, but I would wait till she asked for it.

I also think that the "pain argument" is not valid. I have heard babies scream when haing their ears pierced.
I will leave the choice for my LG to make herself. It is her ears, so when she is ready she can choose to have it done herself.

I think I am just old fashioned but I got mine when I was 10 years old and that is what we have told our LG. She has been asking but we have told her she will have to wait.

If my hubby wasn't such a nerd I would have done my daughters already cos I think it looks cute! I had it done when I was a baby too. Anyway he won that fight so I get to grow my son's hair!! :laugh: I'm a little bit of hippy in that way...
