Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

Hi ladies, so has anyone used the snugglybums nappies? How did you find them?
My main concern is the nappy covers, how effecient they are as waterproofs and how long they last....

2km, do you think I could use the stegi as inserts for the Snuggly, they are very reasonably priced?

Yes, it is quite a nifty idea because I often forget to take the inserts out of my nappies pockets and they end up washing in the nappy and bunching up at the bottom and then i have to wash them again because they aren't really clean.

@2km Well I haven't had to deal with dirty nappies yet, but that does sound like a very nice feature!

No, the inserts are loose and you insert them into the open ended pocket. It's an agitation system. The pocket is open on both ends and in the wash they agetate out into the machine. I havn't tested this yet but this is their claim to fame. I have a sample nappy at home and its really very nice.

Sounds good. Is the insert partially attached to the nappy or how does it work?

@ Lennon Girl, The Snugglybum are the ones with the prints with the very reasonable pricing. they are absolutely identical to the Bumbeetles except for different patterns.

The fancypants are a much better quality nappy with a nice feature that expells teh soaker pads into the washing machine so you don't have to take them out yourself before washing. They are very soft inside and nice and absorbant, they only come in plain colours and are around R170 per nappy.
