The Bamboo is quite a good nappy, it would be a better night and day option if you were wanting to buy one type of nappy and stick with that. You will just need night boosters also for the night use. The inside booster & Soaker are made of a 70% Bamboo viscose & 30% cotton so it's quite absorbant but not 100% natural. The cover has a pocket in it like the cherub tree with a nice Colmax staydry layer that you can if you want for night use stuff with all the boosters to keep the babies skin nice and dry overnight. It will be very bulky on a newborn but will work great from about 6 weeks. It washes very well only I did find that the soaker pads shrunk somewhen but it's not a trainsmash, they still clip in fine. The beauty of the bamboo is that the more you buy the cheaper they become.
But I want to say that I have had far more success with the new Mother Nature all in one with less boosting at night that with the Bam+Boo and they are identical in price. The MN all in one will also be less bulky on a smaller baby. The other Prof for the MN is that the natural fibre keeps bacteria away and the chance of nappy rashes where eventhough there is Bamboo in the Bam+Boo it's in no way truly antibacterial like 100% Bamboo fibre.
@ Nels_n I fyou need boosters for the Bam+Boo then consider buying the night time Bam+Boo booster, it costs the same and will work well for day and night where the plain extra soakers will not be the best option for night time use. I guess you could use the cover of the nappy for swimming & Potty training but esspecially with the swimming the sea salt and chlorine will eventually degrade the PUL of the cover and they wont work anymore. Also PUL is only waterproof to a degree, it will eventually leak if it wee'd on enough.
