Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

I also use Cherub Tree and Bumbeetles and I do not soak them. I use nappy liner and once my LO has pooped I try to change as soon as possible (my nose warns me )

I use Mother Nature and Cherubs liners. MN thicker than Cherubs. I do not have any stains. If the poop went through the liner and left its footprint on the nappy I rinse in toilet as I flush the poop and spray on "ProBac laundry pre spotter" and throw it in my dry bucket until next wash.

If I'm out of Probac Laundry Pre Spotter then I just throw it in a small bucket with water and leave it there until next wash.

None of my nappies are stained on the inside... just one on the outside when LO ate beetroot with no pants on.... lol

I have been reading your responses on nappy washing ....now I am confused! I soak my poo nappies overnight in cold water omo. I find just rinsing off poo and washing doesn't clean them. So am I damaging my nappies? I have cherub tree and bumbeetles! If this is bad how do you clean your poo nappies?

2KM when are you getting in the brand similar to bumbeetles? I know you did tell me but I have forgotten, like so much there days. Ha ha

@ Hasie, see that's why you are the scientist and I sell nappies. The method I have mentioned is the same that is given all round the world. Perhaps you should write a short brief for me and I can add it to the website in the instructions. I would like very much for my clients to get the best results.

2km@ thanks for the advice def noted. Where can I get those liners I looked on you website and couldn't see any.

2km@ yes she gave me instructions to wash them and she only used green sunlight bar soap. No soaking. She even got me the instruction on how to maintain them. They actually weren't used that long cause they are in fab condition. They have been washed and rinsed by Amara's nanny. She also put tea tree oil and hanged them in sunlight.

Ditto everything that 2km said except one thing...

From a scientific point of view, bi-carb is alkaline, that is why it works to clean, vinigar is acidic, that it why it works to strip of excess alkalis. So I would first wash with insanely hot water and lots of bicarb. Then rinse with vinigar not putting the bi-carb and vinigar together as the one neutralises the other one leaving you with a nul result.

Sorry 2km, not intending to insult!!! But mixing the two, would scientifically make as much sense as just washing with water...

I really want those pink trim covers, but don't have any spare cash this month, our car needs new tyres... so I'll wait till August.
