Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

So, I didn't really answer you about the MN All in one. It will be very bulky in the begining, I rekon only from about 2 months or so it would start fitting well enough to avoid leaks and the you will be folding the top over and having it on the smallest setting.

Carmen, doodlebums only sell eco friendly products so yes, the Bambo are biodegradable. They are imported by Mother Nature from Switzerland. The Mother nature and Bio-Baba and Stegi Nappy are manufactured locally. Mother Nature have a beautiful All in one but it is a little pricey but works very well. I am myself not a fan of the ordinary Mother Nature waterproofs though, they don't work all that well and the velcro tape is not of the best quality and looks bad and stops sticking after a little while. The Mother Nature All in one is supposed to be from birth but I feel it is made really big and my son who is 20 months and by no means a small boy still is on the 2nd setting otherwise it gapes at the legs. Most of the All in ones you start to use from about 6 weeks or so but they will still be very bulky. Just the cherub tree is cut in such a way that it is really slim and will fit a new born baby nicely from day 1.

I like MN because, if I recall correctly it's manufactured in SA. I was considering the all in one - from what size can I start using them? Don't want the risk of leaks.
thanks for the tip on the MN eco disposables, I will research those. Are they biodegrable as well.

I use both the Biobaba and the mother nature on my son and they are both great nappies but I do find the Mother Nature more practical as you only have to buy one size from the start where with the Bio Baba you have to buy 2 sizes. With the Mother nature if you don't buy the MN AIO you will still have to buy covers as well. I think though to be honest that the Mother Nature is a little more absorbant than the Bio Baba. You also might find eventually that the PVC material used in the Bio Baba may wear out where the mother nature nature nappy will just last ages and you just replace the covers. I am a big AIO OSFA fan, have you considered the Bam+Boo or Cherub tree yet?

RE: the disposable, I have used the moltex on my Son before and they leaked terribly. I sell the Bambo from Mother Nature on my website and use them rather, they are also a bit cheaper than the moltex.

I am opting for cloth nappies am still undecided between Bio-baba and Mother Nature - although leaning more towards MN.
Will be using eco disposables for the first few weeks.

2KM - what is your recommendation between the two. Also do you recommend the new biodegradable nappy -Moltex- from Bio-baba?

That is also a good powder to use Amanda. the softening agent in their is not like regular softerner that will damage the nappies.
