Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

Sarah, i also change covers with every poo nappy, when they get older and the poo gets firmer it gets better. Stefan was one of those babies that only had one poo every 5 days, Claudia poos 7 times a day... so i rinse covers and hang them up after each poo.

Luckily I did have some disposables and then several warm sunny days!

For some reason, 99% of the time I have to chance nappy cover at each change because my babys' poo is so runny it just runs all out of the nappy no matter how I fold it Very frustrating.

Sarah, the pep stores waterproofs don't work very well with bambino mio or stegi nappies. But just get a pack of terry squares at pep as well and use them with the pep waterproofs. Next time when you go on holiday, I would suggest getting a pack of eco friendly disposables just for emergencies while on holiday. I find that even if you have a fool proof routine at home, things go crazy on holiday and you suddenly find yourself with 5 poo covered covers and nothing to use! Good luck.

EEK...on holiday and have run out of waterproof covers...it so damp here nothing dries for days...at least the nappies can be tumbled...I'm even considering buying plastic waterproof covers from Pep or Jet just to tide us over but don't know if they will work with the BM or Stegi nappies.

I've also got a whole mix of nappies and Skye just wears whatever is closest to hand.

Just out of interest, I had a sample nappy from Moltex (the biodegradable one) which I tried out the other day and it seemed fine, no leaks or anything and none of that really bad chemical smell you get from a wet disposable. I still don't like how hot my baby's bum is when wearing a disposable (which she does at night till her thighs get fatter )

Number of nappies? Depends on how often you want to wash. I have 28 because I'm lazy:) - 6 cherub tree (which are my favourite and I wish I had known about them a year ago when I started buying) and 22 MN with a selection of 4 waterproof PUL's and 3 fleece covers for night time:) I wash every 3rd day!

Claudia, I also have 28 nappies this works so well because I am also really lazy and don't wash very often. The cherub Tree is definately my favourite as well, I have only got 2 of them. I have 8 Bam+Boo's, 1 Bio Baba, 6 Stegi, 8 Mother Nature, 1MN AIO, 1 Duki, 2 MN Waterproofs, 2 Stegi waterproofs and 1 MN Night Fleece 7 6 MN Boosters and 2 x extra Bio Baba Booster plus 3 extra bam+Boo Soakers. I do not use disposables at all.
