Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

Hey everyone. Just thought i would share.I bought some really cool 1 size waterproof covers from the UK and am very happy with them (for over my MN nappies). Heres a pic of james with the cow print one on:)

Carmen - I have started my collection of bambo ecodisposable. Obviously haven't tried them yet, but just thought I'd let you know they are so cute. I have 90% decided on the cherub tree. I have bought 1 so far and the quality is amazing and it is very soft.

Sarah, if you go on the BM website they have videos of how to fold the nappies. I basically use the loose stool fold the whole time, that makes it thicker in the front where a boy would wee and gives you cover on the sides. Glad you are doing well, dont feel bad about popping in on the oct thread, just come and say hi and tell us about your precious little bundle.

Gerne, maybe try soaking them in steri nappy once a month. I soak my nappies (not covers) in sunlight hand wash powder and has never had a stinky nappy! But with both kids on cloth nappies I wash every second day or else the bucket gets to full.

I'm still using disposables at night because there is always a little gap at her thighs which will leak if she sleeps on her side - which she does at night.

Anina, how do you fold your BM nappies? They seem too long and come too far up her back and tummy, but don't hold enough in at the sides.

I also dry bucket my nappies, but I do rinse them and spray the poo ones with GNLD super 10 and I add a drop or 2 of tea tree oil to the bucket. If I feel they smell a bit stronger than usual before I wash, I do a rinse cycle, then wash and add vinegar to the wash cycle.

I'm sorry I'm not online much, we don't have a reliable internet connection and then when I do get back you guys on the Oktober group have chatted so I feel very confused and feel bad jumping in again
