Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

Perhaps then eco- disposables for the first 2 months or so until the MN AIO fit.

Or what about the MN AIO Part-time package and 10 bumbeetles used the the ecodisposables - I can then start buy the eco-diposables and the get the bumbeetles now, and the MN - package next year April when she will be about 8-10weeks old?

Does that sound like a reasonable plan?

2KM - what other proofs do you sell to go over the MN nappies?

OK, used my Bumbeetles AIO nappies todat. They fit well even though I had to tighten them by overlapping the press-studs. I didn't have any leaks and she had long nap wearing one so it went about 4 hours before I changed her. Even then, her bum was still dry and she probably could have worn it longer with no problems. Next one she had a poo in and again, no leaks. It was a runny BF poo too. The disposable liner I had inside caught the worst, but it did absorb right through to the insert which rinsed out very easily. My only complaint - I only have 2 K2M I think I need to buy some more after Christmas

You could find yourself changing babies nappy up to 10 times a day in the first few weeks or months even. You need to make provision for that with the dissposables and at the same time with the cloth so if you only have 5 MN Nature Nappies that wont probably last the day. So depending on how small your baby is at birth I would perhaps say buy the 5 nature nappies but then also use the AIO's in between eventhough they are going to be super bulky they should still hold most of it in. Just remember with the normal nature nappies you need to buy covers and they come in 3 sizes. The first size is really small, each time I look at it I can't imagine it even fits over the nappy but it does.

BTW, I have the Bumbeetles on the site now and although not local they have a gorgeous Moo Cow print nappy with what they call a Minky feel.

Sarah, I also find the boy fold better. I don't know how you fit the normal fold into the waterproof. And try to flap the sides open at the back like the loose stool fold, it keeps the wee from escaping on the hips.

Anina - I tried the boy fold for the BM nappies (I had forgotten about it lol!) and it fits a lot better than the normal fold. Will see how it goes.

I'm also trying my AIO Bumbeetles nappy today and so far so good...A little loose around the thighs but not gaping open. I did have to cheat a bit with the adjustments at the waist to make it a bit smaller.
