Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

So i hear you all talking about boosters and inserts and what not. But with H i have had no problem going through the night with one nappy without any boosters (MN and my own that has velt in). it lasts the whole night. Will this differ with my newborn??? Do they really wee that much I remember changing H during the night but now i cant remember if his nappies were always so full - maybe it was soiled.

2kidmamma, could you please forward me the info on the ball, im thinking of getting one and i know someone else who might be interested as well. thanks !

OK Regarding the BIOWASHBALL. I contacted BIOWASH SA yesterday and spoke to the person I deal with there. She sent me extremely good information regarding the MASSIVE differences in the two products. If anybody is interested in reading this, please email me info@doodlebums.co.za I will forward you the email. I can't load it up here because there are a few attachements. Let's just say the whole thing speaks for itself. I would not suggest you buy the verimark ball. even if I wasn't selling it and I just read this email I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

I haven't used the "Facecloth" (microfleece) yet. I have found my Crazy Store slip and it was R13,99 for one!

2KidMamma suggested I fold it into the nappy to bulk up for maybe night time nappy. Currenly I only have 1 Cherub Tree nappy which I was testing (I have ordered my batch and should have them by next week - yay!).

I will let you know once I use these "facecloths" as inserts - heh heh heh. I am sure they will work great.

BIOWASHBALL has been in SA since 2008 it's the original product and trust me I can vouch for the fact that it works. I am a huge sceptic usually. Let me know what your tests reveal. The Verimark Ball is called "Icon" it's the name that verimark themselves give it. Nothing stopping verimark from having it made up in a different colour for their own purpose. Just a thought. Regardless, I hope it works for you and that you are happy with it. atleast there is a money back guarantee. Abut the PH, I am not a scientist and I don't have the statistics in front of me,. I just know it's far lower than the between 8-10 that the Biowashball gets. I was sure it was 6 but clearly i'm wrong.

Cermatech balls can mean anything as it is a name given by the manufacturer, but I will research this as well.

The pH of normal water is usually 7 (neutral) or above, only in severly polluted areas does water's pH fall below 7. So the info you have about other balls not reaching 6 can't be correct.

I'm not trying to degrade the product that you sell at all nor do I doubt your info, I'm just a science junky so I want to know all the facts and do tests...

I'd be very interested in those test results...I'm always sceptical of more expensive products saying theirs is always better I agree, the 2 balls look EXACTLY the same, I compared them closely!

Lucy, I think they were R20? I'm not sure though. When I go there next, I'll let you know.
