Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

Thanks 2kidmamma! I only let her go to the potty (it's put away in a cupboard) when I change her nappy, she always runs around bare bottom for a while, and in the evening after a bath. Usually when she sits down and I ask her if she wants to pee she does a kind of push (not the poop push) but so far nothing has happened and since I'm not too fussed about it we really do make a big joke of it.

She actually at the moment enjoys it more to squat, give a little push and pee on the tiles, she finds that hilarious!

HeleneS, glad you got your waterproofs. They are cure arn't they?

Marijke, I think if B is showing signs of interest then put the potty there just for fun and when you go to the loo take her with and let her copy you. 14 months is quite young but because she has previous EC'ing experience she just may be ready sooner. For the first few months until atleast 18 months it's normally just a big novelty and joke to them and then it's best not to push but to give them the option if they want it. Usually you will see she probably will just sit down for a bit and lose interest for the first few months. I would just play along with it but I wouldn't do the every 20 minute asking "B do you want to weewee?" thing for sometime. Who know she may just supprise you and just start doing it on her own anyway.

hi all! 2kidmamma, i got my small stegi waterproofs over the weekend. They are so small and cute!! can't wait to start the new baby on cloth!!

I also agree with Amanda, although I felt closer to B when I was EC'ing her than any other time.

Also wanted to ask those who know better than I do. B is very aware of when she pp's. Every time I take off her nappy for some bare bottom time she tries to pee because she finds it amuzing. She's almost 14 months now and also understands what a potty is and all that. I usually ask her if she wants to go on her potty then she runs to it and tries to sit down (usually missing the pot but anyway)

Do you think that it is too early to introduce the potty to her? (you know you get the whole, scarring her for life if you start to early comments from mothers, especially those with 3.5 year olds still in diapers)

a big squishy bottom is just too adorable.

Babies also look so much cuter with big bottoms:) James just doesn't feel right in disposables
