VBAC SUPPORT

Hi Ladies, I am currently 23 weeks pregnant and my gynae is Dr Wynand Truter at Durbanville Medi Clinic and he is totally amazing, he supports my decision to have a VBAC - this will be my third baby, my first was normal and second was c-sec. I just wanted to know if there is anything I should be expecting, I don't want any surprises and as per my gynae he isn't a fan of c-sec and so far everything is on track for a normal delivery. I guess I am just so nervous but I try and stay focused and remain confident that I can do it!

Congratulations on the birth of your baby Zee!! And well done for doing what your baby needs. Don't feel bad about it, we are all made different and some babies are just not meant to be born vaginally.

I attended an awesome midwife led VBAC on Thursday night. It was wonderful. So nice to see it happen and see how a mom who fought for 2,5 years for the birth she wanted, actually got it. The female body is just amazing!

AFM: I gave birth to my lovely daughter Liora 2 weeks ago via C-section. apparently my pelvis was too small and she wasn't able to engage. Must say, i'm quite disappointed but atleast my baby is fine and healthy....

Sheesh... sorry about that random post. I saw someone asking about the midwife in Paarl. Think though that I went to the end of the posts which is now the beginning of the posts!! Ha ha.
