Thank you win and Sma!

Sma - Definitely, my gynea said if she knew he would be that big she would rather have done a c section.

Thank you Zee and Spiral!

My gynea did not think my baby would be 4kg, she estimated him at 3,6kg. All the way through she was very supportive of my vbac!

My contractions started friday morning, midnight my husband got fed up with my moaning and said we are going to the labour ward. I was 5cm dilated. Opted not to take the epidural. Everything went well but my labour seemed to have stalled at 9cm for quite a while. Not sure what happened there, want to chat to my gynea about that when I see her again. According to the sister my cervix was not paper thin and would not slip behind the baby's head. I almost gave up but my gynea pushed me through.

Unfortunately the birth itself was not as "natural" as i would have like (kiwisuction delivery and episiotomy) but it was still more amazing than the elective c section I had with my daughter. Everything I wanted different to my daughter's birth I achieved with my son's birth and it is such a great feeling. I look at my little boy and can't believe I actually did it! :)
