AWESOME AWESOME NEWS Sma
It just goes to show that with the right preparations, the right frame of mind and being informed - that anything is possible!! You did your homework and knew what your body could handle, and you trusted someone who understood how our bodies are made to work!!
I take my hat off to you!!
I too had another successful fully natural labour at Femina Clinic! No epidural and only gas right at the end as it was an induced labour and the contractions became too much at that point! I had an awesome sister deliver my baby, as when it came time to push the gynae wasnt there yet... I was in active labour for all of 3 and a half hours and i pushed for literally 2minutes - it was that quick! She "scraped "against my cocix on her way out - thats why she has all the red on her face, but otherwise perfectly healthy, albeit on the small and tall side!
All the best to everyone else still hoping for a VBAC, and those hoping for a natural birth...
