Hi!

Sjoe Miss Kay, Nathi has picked up weight nicely - he was a small baby when born. Millay is not very keen on her dummy - you're lucky Nathi takes his. I put Saline into Millay's nose every morning and night, and sucks it clean with the Bennits little sucker - helps a lot! My Humidifier is both cool and warm, and I only uses the warm setting, so I'm sure the one that you want to buy will be fine.

Cookie -Monster, Millays eyes are a funny colour at the moment - she also started with the very dark blue eyes, but I suspect it will be brown. Funny thing about the eye colour, I also heard that brown is dominant. Myself and hubby have brown eyes, and we have 2 very blue-eyed boys! Don't know where they come from. Always thought all my children will definately have brown eyes, and now it looks like Millay will be the only one with brown eyes. Yes, she does look way different than her brothers!

Busy weekend ahead:going to a birthday party this afternoon, have to go to the shops after that. Tomorrow morning Ewan has Bulletjie rugby, and then the afternoon/evening the whole family is coming for a potjie for my husband's birthday. Luckily not much planned for Sunday though - then we can rest! Oh, and they finish our paving and garden today - jippieee!!The kids love their new Jungle Gym!

Hope all the babies are sleeping well and treating you nicely!

Cookie-monster-thanks :) Your son weighed nicely at birth Nathi was 2.7kg and was suprised how quickly he picked up after that.So what are you doing for your lil gal as she turns 2.Hehehe my 4 yrs old gal loves to be cuddled and she is way to big now for that but I love the way she interacts with her lil broer and over protective.

Zelf-Lucky you are still breastfeeding I had to wean Nathi because my breasts were acting up on me was having absence(sp)till the dr advised me to stop but he really enjoys his bottle and is a sucker for a dummy ;)

I am looking at buying him a humidifier cause ever since birth he has blocked noses and at times can't breath and it irritates him that he can't sleep or eat well.I saw a warm one at Reggies for R179 its on sale and since Kriel is such a cold place our winter is longer than summer so I think won't need the one with both cool and warm.

Miss Kay - Congrats on your healthy bouncing baby Boy. 7kgs is WOW, awesome news. My Lb is also not one to cuddle with. He hasnt liked it since birth, actually thought something was wrong with him. But thats just him and his personality whereas his sister (which is 2 in a week) loves being in the arms. I love this age, they are just the cutest things alive (smiling and looking and oh so verbal)

Zelf - Millay is really cute with that beanie on...must say your boys look very much the same, but Millay looks different. I love her big eyes.

Has anyones baba's eyes changed colour yet? Logan had very dark blue eyes and they slowly starting to change colour. It has a bit of green and brown in between the blue, i am really hoping for another blue eyed baby. Daddy has the brown eyes and i have the blue, and they say brown is more dominant.

Anyway,

Cant wait to hear from all the other Ladies.

Enjoy your Thursday, 1 more day then its weekend...Yippee

Hi Ladies;

Sorry for MIA but I promise to be more active from now that I am back at work and Nathi is not keeping me busy but end-users  .Monday we went for 14 wks immunization and he is weighing a whooping 7kg,he hates to be cuddled like a baby and prefers to sit up.He even tries to wake himself and boy oh boy he can giggle :) a true rainbow brightening my life each and everyday.

I promise to start on personals when I come and visit again.I am just happy that all babies are healthy and growing well.

Morning Girls!

Juandre, nice to hear from you! Shame, Keira is still so small and you are working already - thinking of you! Hope you get the bottle & breastfeeding sorted. It can't be nice to struggle with every feed. I on the other hand left the introducing of the bottle a little late, so we struggled for about 2 weeks to get Millay used to it. Luckily now she's a little champ with both bottle and breast! Enjoy the party planning. I must admit, the 3 kids does not bother me much, but the small age gap between Janu and Millay is sometimes hard work. He absolutely loves his sister to bits, no jealousy. But when he cries or need some attention, he is still too small to understand if I can't give it at right that moment. But I must admit, it is getting easier now that Millay is getting a bit older.

Cookie-Monster, people tend to expect too much of a child when they are big built, they forget they are still young!

Lelie, Sarina looks like a small and petite little girl. How old is Henk again?

Sounds like you shopped till you dropped at the Expo Lumine-Annie! Nice!! I saw the nappies - was very cheap!! I didn't go in the end - the weekend was too busy :(

Hi all the other mommies - please come and tell us how you and your little ones are!

Have a nice day!

Hi ladies,

SO sorry I have been MIA. It has just been so hectic with my three and I am back at work 2 mornings a week. I also went through a depression stage a few weeks ago where I just wanted to be left alone. I upped my egloynol and am now feeling much better.

Keira is 10 weeks old, how time flies :( . She is still exclusively breast fed but I am having a problem with her liking the bottle too much. When I go to work I leave 2 bottles of expressed milk with my MIL and now most feeds she fights with me as she doesnt want the breast. It's so hard not to totally lose it but I persist and after a few minutes of her screaming blue murder she will latch and feed. I am now going to speak to my client today to move the time I work here so that I only have to leave one bottle for her. I dont want to have to move her onto the bottle as I only manage to express 90mls at a time and she drinks 125mls which means I need to express twice to get one bottle. If I move her onto the bottle I will have to top up with formula and I dont want to do that.
At her 8 week check up she was 5.1kg's, she had put on 2.4kg's in 7 weeks so was doing well.

It is hectic with the three kids. Shiloe has so much homework and extra mulral activities like tonight she has a choir concert at 6.30pm and tomorrow a hockey match. Today she has a history test and next week a science test. On a good note Mickey is sleeping better, she just loves her baby sister "keewa". She always says "I hold her mommy". She will be 2 in 3 weeks time, planning her party. She loves airplanes and helicopters so we are having a pink airplane themed party.

I'm going to try catch up a bit on your posts and see everyones pictures. Enjoy your little ones.
