Ai carol - its really not nice when they dont want to stay. Shame got tears in my eyes when I read your post. I hope it starts going better soon.

CC - Hope your little guy makes his arrival soon. Stunning photos. i agree on the eye colour. Zelmari's eyes are stunning!

I've been feeling funny all morning. I dont know how to explain it. I dont feel sick, my body just feels "pap" as if it needs a sugar boast or something. Also had no control of bladder this morning and it wasn't even full cause I went the loo 5 mintues earlier so wierd. (TMI sorry)

jaundre you must be so tired. Shame I hope M gets those teeth soon so you can start sleeping!

Ag jinne mamma, well done on dragging your DH out Carol. And yes no one can prepare the parent for this. But it does get better, Zelmarí cant wait to go to daycare to play with her friends. All i have to say is "Kom, ons gaan Tannie Karin toe" and lol there she runs to the car with her blankie and dummy.

Okay, went to Dr appointment this morning after not sleeping a wink last night. Gynae is very impressed with the progress of this laaitie without a name yet (Ai tog, hope we decide on a name when he enters the world) He is weighing 3.5kg and estimated weight by due date is 3.9kg, so roughly about the same as his sister. But it is so strange looking at the sonar and seeing a replica of Zelmarí on her scans. Same cheeks, same nose. Just hoping this little man has some of daddies features (brown hair maybe, but i still want my kids to have my colour eyes hehehe  )

Asked dr about induction, he said no i'm a strong woman i can hold out till the 22nd i must carry on walking and climbing those stairs. If baby hasnt arrived by the 30th then i must book in for induction which to be honest with you i am thinking "NO WAYS"

Thank you to all the ladies that invited me on bbm, i will keep you all up to date when things start happening.

Carol- they say the third day is always the worst cause by then they have realised that you are going to leave them. It took MG 2 weeks to settle properly. But even now if DH takes her to school she performs but is fine with me. Doug also took those first few days the hardest. But the teachers are prepared for all this and know how to handle them.

hi Ladies

Just a quick update on Ruan's day 3. Today was the worst! He really did not want to go. When we got there he was a bit sad and when he climbed out of the car he said "dankie mamma" and just wanted to take his bag. But ofcourse we had to take him in. Once inside he started crying and my husband could not really handle seeing him sooo sad! So the teacher took him from DH and once we were in the hallway we heard him trying his luck through the tears. "ek wil pappa nog n drukkie gee, nog 'n soentjie..." hehe and that is when Rubert wanted to take him home. SOOOOO mommy had to step in and stop daddy from making it hard for us in the longrun. This is normal! but the longer we stay there the longer it will take for him to form a bond with the teacher. So I had to pull him out of there. They phoned an hour later to say that he is fine!

DH is so upset - no one prepares the parent for this hahaha.

Hope you are all doing great

Morning ladies,

Heather your daughter is gorgeous!!!! Those pics are lovely. Ive sent a request to you for bbm

It was 30 degrees here in durban at 8am so we are in for a mean one :(

Another bad night with M... I am ready to sell her (noooot)... When your baby has slept through from 3.5 months 10 days of bad sleep really affects you.

Carol- I agree on the weight gain... I dont do pregnancy small. With both my girls I started retaining water from 20 weeks which just added to the weight gain. With this pregnancy I was already 10kg's over my goal weight when I fell pregnant so I am going to have my work cut out for me. But I am happy to report that at 29 weeks I havent had much water retention (yet).
