Good Morning Ladies

Lumine so nice to have you chatting. the last few weeks seem to take forever especially with your 1st. Sitting in the pool must really help with the heat we have been having in JHB. I saw one of the moomie moms is planning a meet for the 21st of Jan possibly. Will keep you updated. I have never got labor pains so I feel for you it was sore.
Even if you have 10 children you will always need advice cause they are so different :)

SIMONE!!!! Congratulations on the birth of Joshua - wow what a wonderful healthy weight. I am so happy that things are going well.

Mandyb all the best for today! Thinking of you :)

Zelf so cute that ewan was proud of his brother - it is so sweet to watch that relationship develop as Janu gets older. Thanks for being so organised with our calendar :) Wow hectic re: your placenta but atleast your gynae knows to be extra careful. Millay is growing so nicely.

Carolsch so glad your sugar is ok - I am sure it was scary for you. The practice labour pains are sore hey. I had an induction so it went from nothing to hectically sore so i never had these kind. You are so right when you have a child already you concentrate on them more cause they are there infront of you but we also need to think of LO in our tummies.

We are leaving on the 24th for Wakkerstroom for 3 days to visit my parents for Christmas. It is about 3 hours drive from JHB so not too bad. My sisters are also coming so that will be nice. My mom is an awesome cook and she is doing everything so that is nice :P My sister and I are both pregnant - 3 months apart and our 1st LG's are 7 months apart so it is awesome that our children will grow up together.
Keeping a toddler occupied is lots and lots of work but she is cute so makes it worth it.

Hello everyone, it's Annie again. Not usually an online chat person, but with the last 10 days of waiting, heavy, tired, resting, bored, really not much to do but anticipate the coming of everyones babies, and mine. I set up my birthing pool in my bedroom today. Is it really freaking hot weather, or is it just me being pregnant? I am exhausted from this heat.

Simone - Congratulations on the birth of Joshua! 3.74 is awesome! I tried my best to fatten up my girl, but doctor said to not hope for more than 3.2-3.4. :S Take it easy and enjoy your miracle! I am amazed you talking about asking each other newborns advice, but most of women on this chat already had babies, I thought you guys like know-it-all already, I am so jealous! I don't even know how to change a nappy, never mind the rest.

Carol - glad your sugar test turned out well and that the baby boy is moving nicely. I just read that legs strength of a newborn can only be compared to a newborn ox, other animals are not as strong. Wow. No wonder it does feels like mightly kicks at times! :pinch:

Mummoo - nice weight for twins indeed! Well done! Just wondering how heavy you must be feeling, I am tired to carry one averagely weighted girl. I'm sitting in a pool for hours, pretending the belly is not here any more.

Zel - thank you for posting the calendar of all the moms-to-be facts. That's quite a big chat room. Hope for a real life meeting some day. :silly: I thought it's only me who is hecticly getting mani-pedi-hair-eyelashes done before there is no time any more. :) I also hope Tallulah will make it to her 2012 due date.

Vision - I have so many practice labor contractions, cramps, etc, since 32 weeks, that already ignoring them by now. Whatever  Sometimes it REALLY feels like she is going to simply fall out of me! (Heh, I wish!)

Take care everyone! Annie.

Anyways Simone! Congrats on you healthy baby boy! What a great weight! Glad breastfeedings going good! Shame Adissons in good hands. So try to get lots of rest! And hope you are up and about soon to post some pics! ;)

Mandy tomorrow is your turn! Good luck!! Hope all goes well! I am so exited for you!

Vision, I started getting period pains. But it reminds me a lot of the real contractions... Then again it could just be very bad BH! Take it easy with the playing!! We tend to forget the babies we are growing, hey!

Zelf- shjoh!! Hopefully the placenta moves!! Low blood is not nice and the heat is not helping!
Ruan fell assleep before 7delaan. So hopefully he will sleep right through. He,s a bit better today.
But he is doing much better thankyou

I printed a the mediclinic's what to pack list. Guess I have to re-pack. Seems I should be packing for a weeks stay!! Al the new babies makes me so so exited I cannot wait till 30Jan!

Janroux is moving very strong! Its starting to hurt. But atleast I know he is okay!

Anyways have good evening ladies xx

Simone - a huge congratulations on the birth of Joshua!!! :woohoo: Wow - he is a big boy! Sorry about the scare - luckily you are in hospital with a lot of help. Shame, hopefully Addison will be better tonight.

Thanks Vision - I am enjoying my leave :P . Hope those false labour pains stays away!! We are not doing much this Christmas - my husband is working throughout so that he can get some leave in January. Going to the in-laws on the 24th, but nothing else planned. What are your plans?

Carolsch, is Ruan better today? The sun is really very strong, I wasn't in the pool for long as well. At least it is better today.

Mandy, will be thinking of you tomorrow - good luck! Looking forward to hear all about it.

I was at the Gynae this morning - Millay weighs 2.6 kg. The cord is wrapped around her neck - don't know why this happened with all 3 my children??? But the bloodflow looks good, heartrate is good as well. Dr is just a bit worried about the position of the placenta, it's right there where they have to cut for the c-section. Possibility of loss of blood is a bit high, so they have to be very careful. He will check it again next week.
Blood pressure was very low as well - that's part of the reason why I have been feeling this tired. Luckily no signs of labour though!! So relieved, we would really like to have a 2012 baby. B)
Went for eye brow shape and wax, as well as bikini wax - another thing ticked of the to-do list!
Ewan was so proud today - Janu called him "Ewa" for the first time. You should have seen the look of utter amazement on his face   It's moments like this that I just thank the Lord for the blessings of children!!

I'll post the latest list I have - please let me know if anything has changed or must be added.

Hi ladies

Just letting u know Joshua was born at 6:35am...weighing a very healthy 3.74kgs. Head full of hair...latching like a champ:)

C-section went well though it took long to get him out due to the placenta position I think. He was very cross when he came out.lol.

Had a bit of a scare now...seems he choked on a wind and started turning blue. My eyes are swollen from the crying I did in those few seconds/minutes. He is asleep now.

Addison adores her brother...just not happy about me not going home with them. She cried all the way home today apparently. Hope tonight won't be as emotional for her:(

Mandy I am wishing u all of the best for tomorrow! Can't wait for pics and story!

Morning Ladies

Simone wow today is your big day! All the best and I cant wait to see pics of your gorgeous boy :) I hope everything goes well!!!

Mandyb all the best for tomorrow - i hope you are still feeling strong and havent had anymore issues. Cant wait to see pics of Jenna :)

Zelf the sun really is strong hey! hope the sunburn fades quickly. Ahhh so nice that you are finally on leave - enjoy your time off you really deserve it.

Carolsch so sorry about Ruan and the sunstroke - it just shows you how hectic the sun can be! I hope he feels better soon! I am paranoid about sunblock.

Ilseross so nice that your friends spoilt you and your LG - you deserve it! It was clever to buy bottles you never know when you will be desperate and need them even if you are breastfeeding!

Mummoo so nice to hear from you - I also though you may have had the twins :) Wow you are doing so well - the weights are really awesome for twins and you have come so far. Enjoy your bedrest and make sure you do rest lots ;)

My dr. appointment went well last week - i posted a nice long post and then lost it and didnt have time to post again. Baby is 742g and all is going well.
Last night I had hectic period like cramps - got really nervous but they stopped when I started walking around and my "what to expect when you expecting" says that is just false labour. I am very paranoid especially as I think I have been overdoing it playing with Bekah and trying to keep the house in order etc.

What is everyone up to for Christmas?
