Hi ladies

ZEL YOUR LITTLE MILLAY WAS PROBABLY BORN BY NOW?????? Hoping it all went well and u arent in too much pain and your little angel...cant wait to see pics:)

Lumine.....we wait with bated breath to hear if there's been any movement that side!

CC so nice re:baby shower and especially getting vouchers. Those really come in handy i'm sure.

Vision 4 degrees higher?? WOW! no wonder i wanted air con on in office and colleague was baffled.lol. Enjoy the last few weeks...it'll fly! And sorry about losing your friend...hopefully u guys will visit each other...if u come to PE we could even meet up! lol.

Juandre i have to laugh re: excitement at maid coming back. I think we all feel that way...mine comes back on Friday! HALLELUJAH!!! Aww your daughter sounds so cute with the çoco''! I always wanted 3 kids but thinking of the pain for a 3rd c-section is majorly putting me off right now:(

Angi 4D scan....how exciting! I however am soooo glad i didnt have one..my normal scans made me very scared about Josh...and he was born looking EXACTLY like the scan..an angry swollen monkey...lol. I was horrified...so was DH!! We were like...um...oh he is ours? um..yay! ha ha...but with Addison i learnt my kids need a few days to beautify a bit...so i wasnt too concerned.

Ashleigh baby is a nice weight:) U know out of habit i still go to loo when Josh wakes for feed! crazy!

Mandy i think 3 is a good age as the kids really understand. I am so amazed and proud of Addison...she always comes to check on Josh..kisses and hugs him...very gentle. Wants to feed him. And she isnt jealous at all. Let another child come sit on her dad's lap she'll be jealous...but not of Josh. And its so funny though..when she wants her dad to play with her she says: daddy put Josh down somewhere and come play with me. lol. Like G can just leave Josh on the floor or cupboard??? ha ha

Carlene i really hope u get the vbac u want and its as pain free as possible! I felt the same wanting vbac this time...not wanting the op...but also being a bit scared of the unknown. In the end it was out of my hands...but ya...I know how u feel.

Carol i hope your boy gives your bladder a break! lol. Just take the pain meds and i'm sure u'll be fine...but i wont lie...2nd time round is a shocker pain wise compared to first time.

Took Josh for check up today. Little man grew 4cms....and back to birth weight...so doing great:) Doc was very happy. Then i was suffering from terirble cabin fever so we used it as opportunity to get some groceries and toiletries and have brunch...was nerve wracking but nice getting out. Fed josh 100mls EBM in the car on way to doctor...then at doctor;s office another 20mls...then at mall another 20mls...and i fed him with boob in car before entering mall! Man the boy can drink! We ate at woolies...was so nice and Josh slept the whole time. Addison was a bit of a hand full...lol...but it was all good. Felt bad going out so early with Josh as with Addison we only took her out at 1m old...but i needed to get out!!

ZEL UPDATE PLEASE WHEN U CAN!! AND ANNIE!!!

Hi ladies!

It sucks to be back at work!

Zelf - Strongs for today. Less than 2 hours till you meet your LG.

MandyB and Simone - Congrats!

To all the other lovely ladies, glad to hear all is well.

AFM - My 6 visitors left at 3am yesterday. It feels akward to have the house all to ourselves again. Don't want to see the water and electricity bill

Went for my 4D on the 14th of Dec. De Wet is doing great and looks a lot like his sister. Going to the gynae again on the 10th of Dec. He will then do the estimated birth weight. I am getting really huge now. AND I am so uncomfortable. Struggle to go to sleep in the evenings for at least a hour. Then wake up an hour or so later to go to the loo. :( Joys of pregnancy.

I get more and more panic attacks these days. They leave me feeling sick and exhausted. I think reality is kicking in now. OOh, nearly forgot to tell you, I had my B-Shower on the 19th of Dec. My family dragged me to town for a hellish 4 hours and when I insisted on going home and finally got home, all the ladies from work was sitting in my livingroom. They got me good this time :cheer: The previous time I knew what was going on. Got a few clothes and blankets and cleaning products, BUT I got a lot of vouchers which I used to buy the final stuff.

Moving my LG to the bed tonight. Please pray that she will cope fine with the change, because it is not only the bed but also a new room.

Have a lovely day!

Hello Ladies

Zelf so sorry about Janus croup but so glad he is on all the right meds and getting better! So excited for you today - cant want to see pics of stunning Millay :)

Mandyb thank you so much for sharing your birth story. Sounds hectic with the changes but you got through it and now have beautiful Jenna :) Please share some of your tips if you ever get a chance on how you got cameron ready. It is the thing I am most worried about is that Bekah will be jealous...

Simone oh my hat your Joshua is too precious for words - all that hair is just too precious. How is the pain now. Sorry it was worst this time! Dont feel guilty you are doing your best and Addison knows how much you love her!

Carlene I love the name Mia!!! You must look after yourself and not work to hard - your health now is very important! So nice that your mom will be staying with you.

Angie so glad you enjoyed your holiday - its always the worst having to come home when you are having such an awesome relaxing time.

Carolsch let us know how your appointment goes. You are nearly at the finish line hey?
When do the gynaes ask to see you every 2nd week? I cant remember if it was 32 weeks?

Juandre we have so much time still to go ;) Mckeilagh sounds very smart already - I love how she tells you off  So nice that you had a good time at the coast - did you also swim?

Ashleigh your LG is a lovely weight - so glad everything is going well!

Annie wow you do have lots of energy. I am sure Tallulah is going to make her entrance when you least expect it - Love the name you chose by the way :)

AFM my best friend left for PE today - she and her husband have gone there to run a church. It was very sad to say goodbye.
Really battling with the heat in JHb at the moment. It makes me feel so sick and dizzy. My friends gynae said that pregnant women feel the temperature of the day 4 degrees higher than normal - so if it is 30 we feel like it is 34!
I am also feeling so uncomfortable and big and im only like 29 weeks!!! But I agree with all of you - this is my last pregnancy and I must try and enjoy it as much as I can.

Morning ladies,

Zel- thinking of you today. I am sure your boys will be fine while you are in hospital. Enjoy your time alone with your little girl!!!

Simone- Joshua is gorgeous, thanks for the pictures. BF is so much easier the second time around. With Shiloe I only managed 3 weeks but with McKeilagh I fed her for a year.

Mandy- congrats on the birth of Jenna. The second c-section is more painful. I am dreading the third as they will have even more scar tissue to cut through.

Annie- I hope your LG arrives soon to lighten your life.
This will be my third and last and I have tried very hard to enjoy this preganancy. But I have been so busy and with a toddler at home I never have time to think about being pregnant.

AFM- the 4 days away was wonderful. We had gorgeous weather, McKeilagh loved being in the sea and was getting far too brave for her mothers liking. It was hot at night though and there was no aircon... so I am exhausted as we didnt sleep well. The friends that came with us have a Lg that is 2 1/2 so the girls played together (fought alot about sharing though).
McKeilagh got a taste for chocolate over the festive season. She will ask me "coco coco mommy". I give her one and she says "one more". Then after that I usually say "no more" so last night during dinner she shock her finger at me and said "no more mommy". Was so cute I couldnt help laughing- all this at 18 months.

I cant wait for next week- 4D scan on Monday and gynae visit on wednesday.
Also my maid comes back on Monday!!! YAY!!!!

Hi ladies had a quick scan of everyones latest posts but dont have much time on my hands since my little Jenna is around now :)

She was born via C -Sec on 21st December ( two weeks old tomorrow) sorry for the late update gals!

The C-Sec experience ( even though my second) was more difficult, but not life threatening.. Differences - I expected an epidural and the anaethetist arrived recommending a spinal block - this meant to only get the spinal inserted in theatre but that it would ware off quicker ( but with one dosage of morphine so that the pain didnt return but the feeling would) the theatre experience was HORRIBBLE as the first CSEC I had they had a screen so hubby could sit next to me and only see baby being lifted from my tummy... This time no screen and with hubby being squeemish, it was hard on both of us, under those bright lights with my rather large preggie body being cut! also my BP did drop on the table, but i had a great aneathetist who kept on saying that it was normal and that the meds he had just put into the drip would make everything right in a few seconds.. ! We just got a fright when i got so dizzy!

Soon enough little Jenna was taken out and didnt cry alot and they apparently battled A LITTLE to get her suctioned so that her lungs were clear for breathing, but within seconds she started YELLING HELLO to the world. They didnt weigh her there and i remember getting the whole medical team to guess her weight. I though she was tiny with my first being 3.62 and they all guessed that Jenna was 3.2, not too small!! I was surprised.. and in the end they were very close at 3.180 Kgs! She latched immediately and is a beautiful happy healthy girl!!

My breasts have taken a bit of a pounding!!! but I am determined to continue and I sometimes express if i dont want her to suck so hard! I let her suck my lip the other day while i was trying to get the breast out and it was flippen hard!! quite amazed at her sucking skills!

Her brother - 3 year old Cameron has continually amazed me how patient, excited, and happy that he has a little sister.. He tries so hard to be gentle and wants to hold her alot! He doesnt seem jealous although we worked really hard to get him ready for this.. somehow we got something right.. he helps bath her every night!

okay gals, I see Zel is having her miracle today! so cant wait to see her little Millay!

and Simone, congrats again, its great to have someone going through this with me that i know i can compare notes with.. at the moment, Jenna sleeps most of the day and wakes quite a bit at night with cluster feeds but i am much more relaxed, I know this too shall end and there is not a lot you can do to change their routines!

Gals, its the best and as hard and emotional as I am at the mo, I am sad that our day of her birth has come and gone , but I feel completely completely blessed to have her in our lives each day!!!!! She is amazing! like I know all your little ones will be

AMANDA - Congrats on the progess, sounds awesome that your day for her to come home is finally in sight, her photos are beautiful! I wish you all the patience, luck and perseverance to get her home!! she is truly your little miracle!!!!

okay all - chat soon!!!

Little Jenna Lucy Biart born by C SEC on 21 Dec at 8.05 weighing 3.18 kilos and 50cm long - my healthy happy girl finally in my arms.

Happy new year everyone.

Simone your son is sooo cute! love the pics.

Zelf, all the best for tomorrow enjoy every moment. Hope Janu gates better soon.

Carlene, dont work to hard. I also going through alot of fears at the moment. I dont know what to expect from having a home birth. 1 thing i do know is that its going to be completly differrent. the unknown is stressing me out a bit. I'm trying to think positive thoughts though.

We were at the doc last week. Baby is 2.4kg and all is fine. I'm just feeling huge and uncomfortable and getting up for the loo 6 times a night is hectic.

Annie i hope your LO doesnt make you wait too long. Enjoy your last few days.

Sorry if I missed anyone. Need to go take a shower and get into bed it was a long hot day!
