I hope everyone is doing well on this Monday morning.

Amanda - I so glad to hear you have a great doc and staff looking after Vica. How are you doing?

Zelf - So you must have been really surprised about the baby shower. Sounds like you had a good time.

Jolene - Congrats on the 20 week mark.

Jaundre - nice to hear that your baby is healthy.

Carol - Janroux is a stunning name.

Mummoo - your girls are a great weight. Looks like you all 3 are doing very well.

AFM - Zaylee hasn't been herself. Yesturday she had bit of temp but still ate and drank fine. You can see in her eyes she is not feeling well. My mom phoned me just now her temp is 38.5 and she threw up a bit after eating all of her pap. She has a bit of a running nose but she isn't coughing. Now i'm not sure if she is just maybe teething or is it something else brewing.

Congrats on the birth of your baby girl. I'm so glad she is doing well.

I am not very active on posting (battle posting from cell, and have to make sure no spies around at work) but do try to stay up to date with all the happenings.

To all the other ladies: great belly picks, stunning boys (zelf), great parties. I feel so bad, my son won't have a party next year. This baby is due a week after his birthday, and do not want to cancel a party due to unexpected happenings

Afm: I have reached the 20 week mark, and will hopefulle find out the gender by 17 Nov. Last visit, dr said it looks like a girk, but the cord was between the legs. Health is good, but emotions are getting me down some times. don't know why .

Wow Mummoo - the girls are a good weight!! You are looking so good as well! I'm having my steriod injection the 23rd - so not looking forward to it now Hope you enjoyed Eid yesterday?

Lovely bump pic Angi! You're very good at taking regular photos of your bump. I am totally lost , wanted to do it since my 1st pregnancy, but needless to say, never done! So well done to you!

Very nice to hear from you Amanda! I am sorry that people is bugging you in this difficult time . How are you doing and feeling? Do you stay near the hospital? Those names doesn't sound familiar to me, mut I might be wrong, hope the other ladies can help as well.

When I woke up yesterday morning, my husband asked me so what's my plans for the day. I told him that I want to go nowhere and don't do anything. But that was not going to happen He told me sorry, but I have a babyshower to attend at 11 . So I had my babyshower yesterday, and Millay got spoiled rotten!! We really got nice gifts, and all I really still need is "spoegdoeke" and changing mat cover! It was such a nice day! Asked my brother to stop by on their way home as well, to help DH move some furniture, so now I got enough space to pack Millay's stuff in the little corner I'm preparing for her in our room!

My brother and SIL are expecting their first little baby, and we are 10 weeks apart, so she's 20 weeks today. They were told it's a girl at the previous scan, but went this morning, and it's definately a BOY! Luckily they have not decided on a name or anything yet! I have started buying clothes etc, because I know I won't be able in January, I hope I can return some of the pink stuff.

Thank you for all the prayers and messages. Only now that I am home I can accept friend requests but I'm doing "background checks" first to make sure it is from this forum and that I'm not some sensational story! pisses me off

I come to my PC and I have 50 friend requests WTF?! I know I gave my name here so it is okay if you ladies add me. pffffttt Who are all these other people?! gggrrrrr




I attach a photo of Nurse/Sister Soretha who was at Cape Gate also when I had my son Dieter. She is a NICU nurse and awesome. Our pead is Prof Pieter Fourie (God's gift to children!).

Vica is doing well according to the drs but it is a real shocker seeing her tiny tiny body.

Hi ladies,

So we went for our scan. The stenographer is a lovely lady. We decided not to find out the sex, it was REALLY hard for me. Baby looks perfect and is the right size for the gestation period He/she weighs 299 grams at 19.2 weeks.

We have a busy day tomorrow with lectures in the morning and then a family weber in the afternoon. But at the moment Sunday is a free day!!!!

Our diningroom chairs arrive tomorrow... but still have about 3 weeks to wait for the table as that is coming once the couches have been made.
