Amanda - glad Vica is doing well and being looked after.

Zelf - That must have been a great surprise! Its lovely to see that other people care about you and buythings you need. Eid was great - thanks for asking. Always good seeing family you don't see often.

Jolene - Congrats on the halfway mark - a great milestone and you should be proud.

Ashleigh - hope Zaylee is on the mend. Its not nice being ill this time of the year so hope the temp drops to normal real soon.

Maureen - hope you feel better soon and that contractions don't start up again. Its too early!!

Simone - looks like you had loads of fun with your baby shower. I had similar cupcakes at mine with Haaniyah and I remember I kept it like for a year cos it was so sweet to see a baby under a blanket on a cake

Carol - Feet up if back hurts! With regards to Braxton Hicks - I can't recall having it with my first but its so distinct now. Can literally feel uterus going rock hard. My uterus is probably htinking - what the hell??? How much further must I stretch????

AFM - had such a hectic episode on Satruday night! My hubby found a man in our backyard at 9pm. Apparently there was a burglary about 6 houses away (people were out at a party) and 4 guys ransacked the place. Their neighbours arrived home from shopping by which time 2 of the men was in their property. The other 2 split on foot and at that time we heard loads of hooting up the road. I thought it was all in aid of Guy Fawkes and Haaniyah started getting scared of all the noise so I said ok, lets get into bed and went to lay with her. In the mean time, my hubby heard the back gate open and then heard a cell phone ring!!! At that point he knew there was someone in out yard - he called our armed response, Sniper, and they were on the scene in 2 minutes (as their HO is just up in our road). The Sniper guy then caught this guy at the back of our property and cuffed him. I didn't even know all this was happening as my hubby locked me in the house while I was laying with Haaniyah. I got up, looked through the window and saw this guy laying on the our grass - talk about freaked out!!!

We waited for the police to arrive, by which time most of our neighbours was in the backyard and questioning ths guy and literally started beating him up - he was apprantely injured so couldn't walk and was just laying there. The neighbours (whose house was burgled) also arrived and they wanted to know where the other guys were and the laptops that were stolen etc. He only had cellphones, perfume and a crowbar on him.

This guy (or if there was another with him also broke the back electric fencing of our property in an attempt to escape.) Like I need all this drama in my life right now! Its just so freaky that this can happen at 9pm on a Sat night. They are so brazen. Crime in this country is really bad.

Hubby all paranoid now and installing more security than we had before. How are we expected to live??????

i had to share. someone has been watching too much grandprix? He is overtaking like crazy!

Mummoo - babies are a great size! how does the Braxton Hicks feel? I did not notice it last time, but I also did not know what to look for. I also get strange remarks from people. I am not THAT big??? Just a little Maybe because I am so short with this huuuuge bump hehe.

ZelF - what a great surprise!!! Glad you enjoyed it even though you were planning to do nothing. But it is so nice getting baby stuff!!! and seems like you got aLOT!

Jolene - YAY on the 20weeks! JUst hate all the emotions stront. ONe day I would cry for absolutely nothing and the next I would be so snappy. in about 20weeks you should feel better

Angi, such a pretty bump pic. I also take a lot of pics. I REALLY have a lot. Last time I did not take nearly as much. And I also like to take videos when he kicks. Too cute!! I wanted to start a scrapbook last time. And with new baby I just never had time. But maybe after this one I will make a scrapbook for both boys.

AFM not much. Back hurts, rather okay mood today. Feel like slapchips today hmmm. Ruan tried the pool for the first time. First lekka warm day today, but then the wind started

My baby shower was lovely. A friend went to one earlier and said mine was like a celeb baby shower:) There was personalised water bottles for the guests. ANd each guest got mini mani/pedi set and nail polish and a little innoxa lotion sample. The cakes and cupcakes were BEAUTIFUL and delicious. Baby got so spoilt...I have bought nothing and it appears there isnt much for me to buy. Changed some duplicated for vests yesterday and bought bottles. He got so much clothes...about 6 stunning blankets (so tough deciding which to keep as surely I dont need all 6/7)...8 receiving blankets and face cloths, 5/6 towels, nappies, cot matress, baby sense sling (the one thing I REALLY WANTED on my list).

I found a superman crawler he will wear from hospital and we got hubby a matching t-shirt....so Addison saw the crawler and says: Oh wow...blover is a super hero!! lol. Too cute.

Hello ladies,

So I am still feeling . This has been since last week. On Friday night I was getting contrations, they were in between 10 and 15 minutes apart. I know they were contractions because they felt the same as when I had Jamie. They really hurt, I wouldn't go to the hospital. Rather waited it out, if they were going to be under 10 minutes I would have gone but after about a hour or two they were gone. They haven't come back yet again. But I have been feeling sick ever since!

I phoned the doctor now because my thighs keep on going dead when I sit! Also the feeling. Also the blue marks that have strectched from my back to my tummy since Friday's episode. I have an appointment for Wednesday but I am a bit nervous now.

Amanda - good luck with your little one. You both are in my thoughts.

Zelf what a nice surprise, its nice to receive so many things at ur b/shower...I try to take a lot of pics of my bump want to create a scrapbook for her with everything in it...

Jolene whoo hoo on the 20 week mark hun...may you find out the gender...
