Carlene so irritating when people dont do what they are supposed to - I find way to many people who are blessed with jobs are very lazy and dont really want to work. You must not lift heavy boxes - the other managers must make a plan - they must not make their work your work! The cake is awesome - how creative

Zelf how wonderful that you got a surprise baby shower - I am so happy you were spoilt!!! Sounds like you got some wonderful things for your LG . Your boys are so gorgeous - they are going to be heartbreakers

Cakes sorry you are not well! I am sure your gynae can book you off and it holds even more weight cause he is a specialist. Cant wait to see pics of the wedding - I am sure you looked amazing - CONGRATS!!!!

Simone wow your baby shower really was like a celeb bash - those water bottles are so posh! I am glad you got spoilt. So wonderful to hear Addison is feeling better.

Mummoo sheesh that is so scary - I am so glad you are safe and sound! Good thing they caught that guy. South Africa is such a wonderful, beautiful country with amazing people and then these stupid crooks have to ruin it. Sounds like your whole neighbourhood was involved.

Amanda so glad Vica is doing so well and is so strong! Amazing that she is already off the oxygen. Sorry about all the FB friend requests you got - that is so hectic. Its weird how people who dont know you at all wanna be your friend just cause you have a prem baby

Jolene you are still a part of the group even thoughh you cant chat much Some have the oppourtunity to chat alot and others not but we are all here to support each other which is why I LOVE moomie so much. I made so many awesome friends through my JULY 2009 group - we are all close and have supported each other through so much.

AFM I am doing well - feeling very tired again even though I am sleeping well. Have had a busy 2 weeks though rushing to different meetings so maybe that is it.
I just cant believe how close we are to christmas - this year has gone by so fast. Cant believe in the next month or so we are going to be welcoming the 1st of our babies and one has already arrived

Morning Ladies,

I am still not well. I am going to the Gynae at 2h15 this afternoon. Jamie is still sick so he needs to be at the ENT at 3h15, so rushing around this afternoon as well.

Amanda - So happy to hear that Vica is doing so well. The contractions have stayed away, so I am not to worried about it. It is just this sick feeling that is killing me at this point.

My babyshower is this Saturday - I am looking forward to it but feeling doesn't help. I also have the works Children's Christmas Party on this Friday, so I am going to be exhausted come Saturday. All this with a sick toddler and sick pregnant women, FUN!

Wow Mummoo, that episode on Saturday sounds scary. When I hear a story like that, I always wonder if we made the right decision to stay in SA. We decided a while back to emmigrate to Aus, did the whole VISA route, got it activated etc. Then we couldn't get our house sold, DH's dad got cancer and I got pregnant with Janu. Made us think that it would really be lonely in AUS, no family and grannies who could help with the kids, what would have happened if we were in AUS and couldn't spent the last few months with his dad etc. So we decided to stay, hope we don't regret it at a later stage.

Amanda, I saw Vica is off the oxygen! Well done little Vica! Good to hear the brain scan went well as well.

Ai Carlene, hope you get the stuff sorted at work, and I agree, just keep by your decision and don't pick up any boxes! Hope you get the bond sorted as well, that's the thing with the attorneys, banks etc, they do as they please, they know we are dependant on them! Your grandma still sounds nice and fit! Mine is turning 80 next year, but she's an old 80! Wow - lovely cake!

Not much news on my side, I am going to look at a nursary school this afternoon,and another tomorrow. My heart is actually very sad, I LOVE the school where the kids are now, but with us moving and Ewan going to the new school, it would just be too much driving around. But, let's see, hopefully they are just as good and then it will be an easier decision.

Congrats Cakes!!!! sjho diarhea (spelling?) Sure gynae will get that sorted out for you soon. Yes they can give sick notes too. I mean a doc is a doc and diarhea is contagious you might get everyone running to the loo hehe.

Congrates on the 20week mark Jolene. Sorry to hear about the emotions. I’m so glad I’m not so emotional with this pregnancy. I really hope you can find out the gender of your baby soon.

Ashleigh, hope Zaylee is better soon and that it is only teething causing it.

Maureen, sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. I really hope that the contractions will stay away until your due date. I believe everything will be fine when you go to the dr on Wednesday.

Carol, I also get some strange looks if people ask me how far am I and I told them I still have 3 months left. Almost like they want to tell me, “ghee you are big.”

Mummoo, you are not big at all. You look beautiful. I also get Braxton Hicks. With Emma I got them from about 26weeks, but with this pregnancy from about 20weeks I think. Luckily mine is not sore.
It is so scary to have someone in your garden. It is like you say, the crime in our country is not very nice.

AFM, our bond is still not registered. I wish I can do something about the attorneys. They are not doing their job. Last week the girl promised us that registration will go through on Thursday. Then Thursday she said, no Friday. Then when my husband phoned on Friday she said, No the deeds office was closed. So she said it will happen today. My husband finally got hold of her at 12h this afternoon, then she told him that Nedbank got a problem with something, but she don’t know what. Now firstly I want to know, if she did phone the Deeds office on Thursday like she told us, wouldn’t they tell her that they are close on Friday? A company can’t just decide to close for the day without letting anyone know. Or am I wrong? Is that the way we work in the new SA? And secondly, I thought you cannot submit to the deeds office if everybody is not happy with everything. Hopefully, tomorrow we will have joy, but this means we can only move into our new house end of January. And that is when this little one is due.

Friday was also not a very good day for me at work. The Financial Director came to me Thursday and told me that he is going to ask the managers to give him STATS on the water & electricity account for the past 20 months. And he thinks it’s going to become my problem. So I told him that if he wants the STATS, he must tell the managers to come and get it themselves. We file the W&E with all the other payments according to number sequence, so it is not all in one file. And the accounts for last year are all in archive boxes. And I’m not going to put my pregnancy in jeopardy and pick up all that boxes. But needless to say, I got my first call Friday morning at 9h. The one girl ask me to sent them all the stuff, so I told her she is welcome to come and do it herself, because I’m not going to do it. I have a month end to finish and I only worked half day on Friday, because we went to Newcastle for the weekend. Today I told the FD that his W&L joke is not very funny and he said, he told them not the phone me and ask me to do it, because I don’t have the time to help 9 managers.

Well, this is enough complaining. My weekend was very nice, just tired. We went there for my Grandma’s 85th birthday. She is turning 85 next week. And she is still very alive. You must see her and Emma together. It is almost like she is the same age as Emma.

Well, with all the baby showers happening, here is a cake I baked for my friends baby shower earlier this year.

Maureen please contact your gynae! When I went into labour that Friday morning I also felt ill. At one stage I had the shivers/shakes but I kept denying I was in labout. Whole day I went with contractions until my waters broke that evening. Who knows, maybe if I went earlier they could've stopped the contractions without my water breaking and I wouldn't be sitting with a teeny tiny prem baby. (Although I do believe everything happens for a reason - I can't remember if I've mentioned my amniotic band I had but apparently that could've caused permanent damage to Vica if she stayed in full term.)

I just rush-read through everyone's posts. Thanks for all the prayers and positive thoughts. They did a routine sonar of Vica's brain and all is well there too *blessed*

I invited you ladies to add me on FB. But since joining a few premmie groups I've been getting friend requests from strangers and of "in-law-cousin's-wife's XYZ" and people I honestly do not know! phew!
