Hi ladies, Belaine, thats terrible, sorry to hear that! And at this time of the year as well. I hope you are able to find something else soon. Monica, how did she take to the creche? Well all is well on my side, Eli has been sleeping so well these past few days, hes finally been doing a stretch of 6 hours at night, its finally so great to get a bit of decent sleep in, hes going for his 12 week shots next wednesday, cant believe hes almost 3 months already. Eager to see how much he weighs. I havent even gotten started on my xmas shopping yet, can you believe it. Oh and my festive eating has started, so there goes any hope of losing any further preggy weight. I dont know what ill be wearing to work in january.

Wow - wheres everyone???
Very quiet here!!

Thanks Belaine. sorry to hear you having a rough time at work. That is not nice to hear and especially now at Christmas time.

We are going for 14 week injections on friday so I will see then how much J weighs.
I also took her to her new school yesterday and today so that they can get used to each other. (They close on 14 and only open on 7 jan - which is the day i go back to work) so i wanted her to get used to them at the school instaed of just dropping her off at complete strangers for the first time for the whole day.
i feel like there is something missing - he he :P But grateful to have the few hours off.
I will more than likely drop her off tomorrow and then go and finish my Christmas shopping.

Anyways - just wanted to see how everyone is - but its very quiet here.

Hope you all well.

take care

here is an updated pic of Jaimey - Santa's little helper!

Betts - I only went onto Isomil cos my first born was on Isomil (after trying everything else) and so the clinic sister said we should just start with that for Jaimey and see how it goes. She said that if we have a problem then we would try other formulas - but the Isomil seems to work so we stick with what works :0)
I really struggled with my first born with the bottle - all i can say is persevere and persevere and persevere. Also try not get too worked up about it as they can pick up on that anxiety and that makes them take it even less. I learnt the hard way.

yeah i take my hat off to those super moms cos Im really strugging to find balance and juggle the 2 kids and cooking and wife and everything else... I dont want to know how hard it is going to be when I go back to work in Jan. :-(

Hope you all well!!

Monica why is jaimey on isomil? I thought it was mainly for lactose intolerant babies? Well im still not really winning with the bottle feeding, Eli took 30 mls of the novolac yesterday and that was it. Really frustrating me. He only took it, coz i held out on the breastfeeding and he was hungry. Well ive started with another nanny, for Eli, i have another for my son seth. This will be the case till hes about a year old, i cant manage with two kids and all the housework and cooking. I dont know how ladies manage, they definately super moms.

Hi ladies

its been quiet here which means everyones little ones are keeping them verrryyyy busy! ;)

Well my Jaimey is 3 months old today. I cannot believe how fast time goes by. I must admit the first 2 months were a blur with the colic and I have only started to enjoy her now in the last month.
I will try post a photo so you can see how much she has grown.

I am trying very hard to put her into a bedtime routine but I just can't get it right.
What do you ladies suggest? Bath, bottle and then bed, or Bottle bath and bed?
I can't get it right last night she had a bottle and fell asleep during the bottle which was about 7pm and so she never bathed!

Anyways I really cannot complain - she slept from 7pm until 2h30am. She is on Isomil formula with the fat nuk bottles and NO 2 teat. She only has about 100 -120ml each feed. I just can't get more into her. apparently she is supposed to have at least 150ml. Oh well she is still growing so that is all that matters.

I am going to take her to her new school for a few hours each day next week - as they are closing and only open again on the 7th Jan which is the day I go back to work. I need them and J to get used to each other - shame I just don't want to drop her off on the first day and leave her there the whole day.
so maybe next week I will catch up on some much needed sleep or will have to go and do my grocery shopping.

Anyways Hope everyone is still well and enjoying their little ones.

sorry have not done personals. got to go and wash some bottles:-)

take care!
