Hi girls
Seems its going better with most of you which I'm so happy to read!
Lauz when is your check up?
Another friend of mine is also using the Total Comfort. Her mom works for the distributor / producer? They also do pediasure which we use for Kaylee. I may give it a try but wil ask gynae for advice.
Ginah let me know what sister says please because we have the same problem and I wonder if something is wrong that's making it hard for him to pass wind / stool it really seems to struggle even though she is breastfed and not constipated.
Just a thought - maybe he cries with nanny cos he knows youre close by? It will be different when its just the two of them, maybe give them more time together before you go back to work?
BettsF shame hun, just go shopping in aircon places all summer

But I hear you and its not even that hot here yet and I even have her in just a nappy during the day.
Re nappies - I cant recall hey but was always partial to pampers mostly cos of price specials. The pampers newborn I like cos theyre slightly bigger than huggies and Rei is quite chubby I think. We are between sizes though. Size 1 is slightly too small (hence my current preference for pampers) and 2 is slightly too big but I'm sure a week or two that won't be the case.
Sounds like lots of the bubs are sleeping very well at night! Well when I read that earlier in the week I was totally jealous as we'd had a really bad few nights where Rei would wake up at 1am and be awake for 3 hours as if it was day time. She was sleeping really well from like 4pm though so I started trying to move back when she started sleeping for long hours and it seems to have worked. If she wakes after 2pm for a feed I always try ensure she is awake for an hour afterwards, so that she is then going back down at 'bed time'. The sacrifice is that it means she's often needing to be put down at the same time that Kaylee is home and wanting some quality time, as there is really only 1.5hrs once K gets home before its her bed time. But I was going out of my mind and really feeling very sorry for myself.
It's still tough some times during the day as she really does struggle with passing gas and stool and it will wake her from a nap. She is also awake for at least 2 hours at a time when she is awake and then will sleep for 1-2hrs.
Rei is a month old tomorrow yipee

Our paed check up and first vaccinations are in 2 weeks time. Also lots to ask paed but on the front of my mind is her cramping.
All in all we've had a very hard first month, much harder than I was expecting. I think Kay was generally easier never had cramps, but we were so overwhelmed with her post surgery care and administering of medication that I don't really remember the first month that well.
We are still breastfeeding, and I had a bout of mastitis this week. Really bad fevers made me feel extremely ill, and a very sore breast and blocked duct under my armpit. Thankfully Rei cooperated and fed like a champ for the day and by the next day it was clear. I am on antibiotics though just to make sure it doesnt come back!
During the day she feeds 3 hourly, and night time is 3-4.5hours generally, and seems to be dropping the first night time feed usually around 10pm so will go from 7ish till midnight. Thankfully we have had a good weekend so I'm hoping it will just get better from here.
I have lost 11kgs now, so 4 below pre pregnancy and chuffed with myself. Still have 6 to get to what I weighed before I fell pg with Kay and will be very happy to get there! Trying to loose 5 a month till end of Jan, would like to get some new clothes to go back to work in on 1st Feb, hopefully a smaller size!
Anyways, hubby wants pc back! Do keep chatting!
Anyone on whatsapp??? A few of us chatting nicely there too so feel free to join us
