Started with a course of beth moore living beyond yourself started last night looking forward to that as well will just finish in time before my lg is due!!

I havent had time to log on in a while.

Happy belated bday to all the peeps who had their birthdays.
Good Luck to all the ladies having their scans soon. I am going
for my 24 week scan tomorrow evening.

Itchy belly havent really had an issues,I use the J&J tissue oil.
It has worked for me with the two other pregnancies.I use it
once a day and dont have any marks on my stomach(touch wood).

Havent decided when I will start my leave but I was thinking of
starting it at 37weeks.

Joburg ladies keep warm please its freezing these days.It was
3degrees this morning.

JB glad all is well with baby and good luck with the VBAC.
You are lucky that your doctor is willing, most doctors arent.

JB - congrats on team pink.

I also lost track of how many girls and boys.

Monica i was supposed to get my hair colored it would've been done at home by a proffesional hairdresser she is a friend of my bil. unfortunately bil forgot to pack her kit so im still a plane jane!!
Luckily my boss said i only need to do the debtors from home he will get the creditors and my other work done between the others. We will see how it goes.

The work is spoiling us to a spa treatment other ladies getting hot stone massages im only getting a pedicure and a hand massage. They not taking chances with me being pg at least im also getting spoiled.

I am so sick with flu - that im struggling. I got some homeopathic stuff from the chemist called TIBB colds and flu - I am not convinced that its helping at all. So i have been sucking halls and then taking panados at night before bed.....man its not nice to get sick and not be able to take anything.

To all the itchy bumps - I put some bio oil in my bath - that way it does not go on my clothes or is on the bedding. I only put a few drops and it kind of absorbs into your skin while you bath and then when you dry - you wipe off the excess. I also use the cocoa palms butter cream - i think it works like a bomb. Reminds me - mine is just about finished, so I will have to get some more.

I still have not done much in terms of getting anything ready for this baby and there is only 2 and half months left. Panic stations - best I get my butt into gear and get a move on.

Belaine - Im not sure if i did the right thing my offering to work from home - cos by the sounds of things, they going to want me to work just as much from home as i would in the office. Anyways time will tell how it goes and I will just have to put my foot down and say NO if its too much to handle with the new baby and all.
(i just cannot afford not to be paid - so that is the only reason why Im going with it for now)

im also really struggling with the round ligament pain and have to take it so easy these days... i really can't do much and have to take my time when I stand up and start walking. Feel like a real old lady.

Belaine - did you say that you were going to get your hair dyed? Just want to know if you did it yourself at home or did you go to the hairdresser? My hair is looking a little worse for wear and just a bit - lot a bit of grey hairs.

Glad your scan went well. Mine is due for later this week but I've been so slack in terms of checking exactly when it is. maybe i'll end up going next week.

Hi ladies

I will catch up properly later. Just wanted to catch you up on our scan.

All is well with HER! Weighs around 450grams now and all measurements are as they should be. Heart beat is 154BPM.
We will see the fetal specialist in 3 weeks time and back to the gynae beginning of August.
Spoke briefly about wanting natural birth if at all possible. Although they dont really make a commitment one way or another till 36 weeks when they can see baby's weight and how baby is lying etc, he seemed quite supportive of the possibility of a VBAC provided everything is fine.
He will then assess my pelvis shape (if its more tri-angle than rounded then it can make natural birth harder and riskier for vbac) and size, and see if baby is lying nicely. He is not overly concerned about scar tissue as he says experience is proving it hasn't got as much of an impact on vbac as previously thought.
I am just pleased that he didnt shoot it down right away or warn me away with risk factors etc, and that he is willing to play it by ear closer to the time.
So far baby is lying head down and legs up which Kaylee never did. She was always breach. So maybe there's a little chance that I can experience natural birth after all!

Ja its really cold today!! but i know it must come that it can go as well!! its nice so on saturdays me and dh lay in for as long as possible!!

Yesterday lg was active and dh played with her and she got quiet and then i realize dh also fell asleep with his head on my breast.

Got spoiled by a friend with clothes and 2 mam bottles i really do think i have enough new born clothes and even up to 6 months.

I want to start sorting the cupboard because at the moment all the clothes are in a suitcase!
I think i might just get some warm clothes for newborn as aug/sept not sure when she is going to come can be cold and most of my new born stuff are short sleeved.

And i think i have enough bottles as well i have 5 and i want to breast feed and another thing that is sorted is spoegdoeke.

JB maybe you must get your back checked out! good luck

Zoe you must look at game as well for campcots that is where i got mine.

Good luck to you all with the itcy bumps must really say i havent got it but my legs cramp often.
