JB I have added you on both skype and fb. How do you hide some text? Do u have whats up or bb?

Im super tired today and my lowerback is hurting so much today!!
Im on the search for a new maid as mine just phoned in sick last week Wednesday and she didnt even let me know she is not coming today so im not happy with her I really wish i can get somebody else and when my eventually pitch im just gonna say you i though you quit since you didnt let me know whats happening.
Im so not looking forward to clean the house and the ironing, im going to get dh to help me I said this morning get me a new one or help me clean the house he said he is already working on getting a new one.

I have a super long wait before my next scan.. 5 weeks!! at least im going to be busy because i have my exam coming up and a wedding and this longweekend which im just gonna use to relax but next week i really do need to start studying.

Jb wish i can have naps during the day im really tired!!
Elamsmom sorry to hear about lo's mood! i've hear about clingyness but i cant speak of experience.
Robyn sounds like lg is a daddy's girl?? Good luck with today i hope you have a better day today and you get some rest tonight!!
Anushka glad you finally got your bfp!! another 1st time mom so dont feel so "alone" between all the 2nd time moms! at least you get lots and lots of good advice!!

I dont ever let K fall asleep alone because she makes herself throw up and them becomes even more hysterical till I come and get her.
Why did you go to bed so late hun? You must look after yourself and go to bed as early as possible!

Ooooh please do let us know how your scan goes! And will gynae double check the gender too?

Elamsmom I suffer with chronic shoulder pain in my left shoulder. I find it gets worse when I am stressed. Dont carry anything on that shoulder. I used to go for regular physio for it, where they do needling (most awesome thing ever) and massage and heat treatment. It worked but since its chronic you have to keep going and I just couldn't afford it.

I am quite grateful that I'm not working at the moment, because I get so tired during the day I wake at around 6:30 / 7am with Kaylee, and then I have a nap again around 11am for 2 hours most days! I feel so unproductive but I have been totally sapped of any energy! I have 4 baskets full of washing to get caught up but only manage about 2 loads of washing a day. Not to mention the basket full of ironing waiting for me
DH has been out every night this week, and will be out tonight and we're going to movies tomorrow night. Then next week he is in Joburg Tuesday & Wednesday too. So the evenings are quite hectic by the time I've cooked, bathed and put K to sleep its 9pm and I'm too exhausted to do anything else.

Hmmm think I'm going to go take a nap now ...

@RobynC: shame, poor baba! At least daddy's back today.

My LG woke up in a bad mood today. She screamed all through her nanny trying to feed her brkfast and all through bathing. Literally kicking & screaming and hitting and throwing her body around She kept crying for mommy!? I could hear because I was also busy getting ready for work in my bedroom. She's normally not so bad. Then when she was done, she ran to my bedroom and wanted me to pick her up and carry her around the whole time! It took me so long to get dressed and ready for work!

Have any of your 1st kids shown any signs of added clingyness? is she sensing her turf being invaded by the baby? or is it just the terrible two's???

Jeanne, at my FA scan, the technician said a baby's head is usually a week ahead,
so it's normal - could still be another girl...
This pregnancy is the complete and utter opposite to my other one and we're having another
girl

Had a really bad night - DH is in Jhb and D wouldn't go to sleep, she was just crying for her Dada (shame )
Eventually at 21h00, I just had to close the door and leave her to cry so I could get something
to eat myself, feed the dogs etc
When I went to check on her at 22h00 she was sound asleep but had gotten sick all over the cot
I didn't want to wake her so I tried to clean up around her
I eventually got to bed after 01h00 and then D woke up at 04h00 and refused to go back to sleep
I ended up putting her in my bed at 05h00 - just to try rest since I had to get up at 05h30!
So now I'm a zombie and can't even have any coffee to wake up!

But DH is getting back this evening (TG! ) then we have our 16wk scan tomorrow
and then we are all off to the game reserve on Fri for a whole week (we have to be at my parents house at 03h30! )

@Anuschka: sorry you had to go through so much to get your little miracle but it was all worth it!!! Congrats again on your pregnancy!

I have THEE worst ache/pain in my left shoulder these days when I am sitting on my chair at work. I'm not sure whether its the chair or just me. But I sat in the same chair all last year and never had such pain! I am actually thinking of getting it checked out by a...chirpractor? physio? which is the most appropriate? It seems to be getting worse

Other than that, have a great day ladies.

I am SO stressed by work at the moment. i have leaving the office around 7/8pm every night this week

Anuschka I'm so pleased that after such a long journey you got success!
My neighbour is also with Dr Slabbert. They have to do IVF.
Our scans are at the same time. I go on 15th May so 3 weeks and counting! I must say 2nd time round this is all going much faster! I used to wish the time away!
I had a friend on here who was also involved in government and HIV at Tygerberg Hospital. She relocated last year unfortunately!

We dont know yet what we're having. Many of my friends say Boy but I think its a little biased since we already have a girl. Others say it must be a boy cos I have such different symptoms to last time! Last time by 9 weeks I couldn't wear any rings and my feet were swollen, but I didnt have any MS except for a 2 week stint between 10-12w but very mild compared to this time where I've had MS since I was 5 weeks and so bad that I couldnt eat for the first month! I still wake up naar and hoping it will start getting better soon!
I joked with gynae last week cos baby's head is big ( a week bigger than the rest) so I said it must be a boy cos DH also has a big head!)
But honestly, I dont mind either way. Another girl would be lovely for me, and for Kaylee to have a best friend when she is older. But I know deep down DH would love a boy to carry on the family name. Whichever it is, she or he will receive the most love we can offer!

Regarding the ticker at the bottom of the status updates, its a little complicated to explain but let me give it a try...
Go to www.lilypie.com and you create your ticker. Create one that is appropriate for forums (the bigger one). Once done, it gives you a list of options below for different types of tickers. Under Forum you choose the UBB/BB code and select the code in the blue box. Now that was the easy part :)
Now on moomie you go to the profile page and select Edit Profile. Then select the Forum Tab. Then where it says Your Board Signature you paste the code you copied from the other website and update it. Voila!!!
