Just a quick update, looks like team pink for me!! dr are pretty sure although he didnt want me to paint the room pink as yet so we are going to wait till 29 may to find out for sure at the gynea.

Belaine; good luck at the doc today - hope you get to see what it is!!!
We don't have any names yet - i keep mentioning a few and just get the NO - so who knows... we still have 4 months.
As for gynae costs - i know we going to be paying in a hell of a lot to all this - i think R1500 is not too bad - but thats just me cos I think we have to pay like R5000 - we only got a hospital plan but the medical aid will only pay medical aid rates.

Thank goodness tomorrow is friday! Yay - then next week a short week.
I have taken monday 30th april off - so will have an extra long weekend next weekend - cant wait.

Im going this afternoon for a scan, 20weeks today!! Im going to suprise my mom over the weekend so thats why my date moved to today!!

Monica go check out your parenting website there is nice list there. congrats on team pink again. any names yet?

Elamsmom, i also dont really feel pg except when im in the shower an i realize my tummy is getting bigger, but when i told the lady at my pastel course im pg so i want to do my exam asap she couldnt believe i was 20weeks.

JB missing your posts but understand good luck with the inlaws and the interview, glad everything is well with lo.

I hope to find out the gender today but not putting my heart on it as its at my dr not my gynea.

I cant remember now who is going for c section, what is your gynea co pmt? mine is R1500 i do have a MA. Im going to ask for a bit of discount i mean really. but i dont want to move to another gynea now.

1st timer glad your scan went well when is your next scan prob 10 May?

o its official i have 3 friends having boys, 2 of my friends with there second boy, one friend 2nd child but this time its a boy.
Then 2 friends in July one boy and one girl 1st child so i have some shopping to do!!

I also haven't done any shopping for baba Guess I am waiting to get gender confirmed. I think I mentioned in previous post that we're going to try to find out around 19/20 weeks so still a few weeks to go. A baby girl I kinda like the idea of sisters

Nothing new on my side. Bump growing nicely. was quite funny this morning buttoning my jacket and I realised I probably won't be able to button it in the next 2 weeks.

I know this sounds strange but I don't really FEEL pregnant. even with a growing belly! Its like it has not registered emotionally. I don't think that even makes any sense...maybe once we know gender or once I start buying stuff? Maybe its normal for a 2nd pregnancy. life just seems to go on...unlike my 1st pregnancy where it was all i thought about for 9 months

How are you all feeling? Are you over your nausea and tiredness?

We went for our scan on friday and it was confirmed that we definately having another girl!
it is so strange - cos everybody i know that has 2 kids have 2 of the same. And Most of them are girls - the girls are taking over the world

Our little girl is doing well and measuring all good. She moves quite a bit although I can only feel her every now and again. I can tell now which is baby moving and which is gas.

Im 18 weeks and a bit now and still have not done much about anything for the new baba!! I better get my bum into gear.

I might have to move over the august 2012 mommies - my gynae said that we must start thinking of a ceasar date and cos Im due 14 sep she said that i must choose like the first week in sep or perhaps even the last few days in aug! My Boyfriend really wants the 1 september - but that is a saturday and im not sure if she will do it on the saturday???

If anyone comes across in one of the pregnancy magazines - that list of things you need for a new baby - please would you let me know which mag it is so i can go buy it - or if anyone has a list that they can post - please do. I would like to see what is critical to have and what is nice to have. I can't remember too much from when my LG was born. Need a refresher course!

Hi ladies

Sorry for my selfish post. We are with inlaws now and waiting for our internet line to be moved, so I cant really use up their internet.

Just wanted to update that I went for my 12 week scan today and everything looks good! Baby measuring to size except that the head is a week 'bigger'!
Doc says its hereditory so I recon maybe a boy cos DH has a big head, and both me and Kaylee have small heads .
He wont even take a guess at gender until our 16 week scan. That's also when he'll do the detailed scan and take all the bloods etc.
Baby wasnt lying lekker and it was a bit disappointing at first. But I think s/he was just having a nap cos towards the end baby woke up and moved around nicely for us so we could get a clear picture!
Nice strong heartbeat of 154bpm which is a good sign.
Next scan 4 weeks away on 15th May! Hopefully then we'll see gender I was in Edgars today trying to get long sleeve tops for K plus maternity jeans (epic fail) and couldn't even admire the newborn stuff!

We moved in with inlaws over the weekend. Tenants were meant to move in on Monday but they were no show and the deposit never cleared! So now our house is standing empty while we try get tenants! So now back at square one except that we worked our asses off and are with the inlaws.
We brought across so much 'stuff' its going to take me a good week or two to sort through it all! kaylee is loving it though, seeing granny and grandpa so often and she and their jack russell play all the time!

I have an interview with a temping agency tomorrow morning at 8:30am. Not looking forward to the early start! I'm hoping to bring in at least some income while I try get something more permanent.

Anyway I must go, too much online time!

@Tiagosmom: Can we swop? My 2nd baby girl for your 2nd baby boy? It really is strange that most people end up with 2 of the same instead of a pigeon pair.

We are not 100% sure yet of the gender but I just have a feeling. Dh wanted a boy (obvioulsy) but I'm starting to convince him that its another little girl and he's ok with that I think he's ok with it cos he thinks we can still try for a boy for baby no. 3. Me? not so much! I think 2 kids is more than enough!

Glad everyone is sounding good. How are everyone's bumps looking? Mine is not that visisble if I wear something loose but today I have a tight-ish t-shirt on under my jacket and it shows soooo much!
