January 2013 - Baby/Mommy Club!

Hi Ladies
Sorry for being so quiet but Alizah is a colic baby and my son is in gr 1 so they keep me quite bizzy . I'm glad to hear that most of the mommies and baby's are doing well. My heart goes out to those who are not so well .

Had her 12 week checkup today and she is growing so well, from being only 2.5 kg at birth she is now 6.1kg and 59cm long.

Hope all the sic babys get well soon and lots of hope fore only the best of you all

Tristyn is the same - i think its the age (she's 2 years 8months) thats causing them to act out... She also started pre-school this year, and a move to the new house so lots of adjustments for her...

Patience is the key but its hard at times...

Long time no chat... Sorry i've been scarce, this is a VERY busy time of year for me. As the big event we've been working towards for the past 8 months is nearly here. Hubby & i put together the Landy Festival & time is very few lately.

@Anthea, so sorry to hear your princess hasn't been well. I hope they find out soon what the problem is and she gets better soon. Such a cutie pie too and so happy!

@Snoekie, your pics are stunning! So creative!

AFM, we are doing very well. Took Colby for his vacc's at 7.5 weeks and he weighed 5.7kg's. He was such a good boy! We do well at night also going 7 hrs for the first stretch and then 3-4 thereafter. He barely cries my little man and his smiles really make my day. As for Tori, she is doing well & loves her brother. Bit naughty lately but i think it's just her age (3?)...

Hope the rest of the mommies are well!

Snoekie - those pics are simply stunning! Anja is a beautiful baby! Glad to hear everything is going so well with both of you!

Tazzy9 - dont you just hate the fact that they dont know whats caused it??? Its the same with Morgan, if i knew what caused it then i would know how to prevent it!!! Glad to hear that he is doing better now! And that you got him to latch after such a long period! Just shows how perserverance can pay off hey! BF is really the best feeling in the world!

AFM - my poor baby had the blood test today. She was such a champ about it - poor thing. The white blood cells have increased to normal levels - thank the good Lord. There is one component of the white blood cell count is still low (the nuetrophils) and we need to constantly monitor it! Paed will be speak to a haemotologist about it aand get back to us in a few days! Staying cautiously optimistic that it will increase by itself. So all in all good news for us today!

She is also growing very well- on the 50th percentile! She now weighs 4.76kgs, this after weighing 4.2kgs on release from hospital last week Monday! So all the demand feeding has definitely paid off - white gold is the BEST
