@Chrisy congrates on your little princess – she is absolutely gorgeous! So glad all went well and she home and healthy! Im not a mommy yet but we had a lactation specialist talk to us at Ante Natal and said we should drink the Similac shake to help with milk and also massage your breasts in a warm shower.. I also heard of drinking stout, Good Luck with that, let us know what the winning formula is!!

@Juwayraj all the very best for this weekend! Cannot wait to hear news and see the pics of you bubs!

@Anthea lucky girl that you are booked off till maternity leave starts, enjoy your time off and get lots of rest 

I still have to work on Monday *SIGH – Getting really bad stretching pains in my stomach and legs ouch!! 4 WEEKS to go today till I meet my lil man! Hope you all have a lovely weekend and very happy safe festive week next week with your families

Juwayraj tell hubby "many true words are spoken in jest"! He kept joking that it will be your Christmas baby and now he is hey! All the best with the induction - hope its a quick labour!!! All that matters is the LO is healthy hey, and these docs do know best after all! Pray that you are all home in time for Christmas ((((((HUGS)))))

AFM went for our scan yesterday - at 34weeks 3 days madam is already weighing in at 2.511kgs... Doc booked me off on bed rest till the 4th of Jan... He picked up some sugar in my urine too... But for now its nothing to be concerned about. Just have to take it easy... We see him again in 2 weeks time - on the 3rd of Jan and the start of my maternity leave will be decided then!

Attached is a pic of the madam - she's definitely running out of space and all the movement is actually starting to hurt now! Family loves watching my tummy bounce and jive - hehehe

My parents arrive soon! YAY!!!

Cherikey - my doc says the same hey! He always works on first day of last menstrual period to calculate due date, and then sticks with that due date throughout, irrespective of what the scan says...

Awesome tummy pic Nadia!! WOW - i can only imagine how draining it must be... I am not yet 35 weeks and feel really big hey!

Cherikey, I am 38wks to date and apparently if you have the gestational diabetes - they induce you at this time. Not sure if its becos the baby is growing so fast or if they just wanna prevent high blood pressure and all that other complications. The doc went with the dates on my 13wk scan.
I am not complaining as I only have 2 wks to go till my due date and my body is beginning to feel the pressure of the baby.

@Chrissy, huge congrat's... At least she is healthy and all is well! When i was induced at 35 weeks with my first one i struggled with milk as well. They gave me iglinol (sp?) to help bring it on but it was still very low. Once home i drank milk stout and a glass of Formance every day. Try that it really helped and helped my little girl gain weight. Give that a bash & see how it goes... What did your little princess weigh at birth? Gorgeous pics, she looks beautiful. All the best for a good Christmas!

@Juwayraj, why you being admitted again? My doc said something interested. We shouldn't take our gestational age by the later scans as genetics and other factors start to play a role in the size of your baby and is not necessarily indicative of how baby has developed and so you should always take your due date according to your earlier scans...

@Nadia, so glad to have you back & to see your beautiful bump. Hope all goes well for you till your c/s...

AFM, 37 weeks yesterday and feeling big & tired! Get to see our boy again next Thursday.... YAY! Have a great day everyone...

Ahhh...congrats Chrissy...here I was thinking that I'm gonna be the 1st one of our group. I'm being admitted tomorrow and being induced on saturday morning. Will see how far we get with that!
I just hope its not a long labour.

Hi Ladies

Sorry I have been so quiet but it was a hectic week.

I have some good news . I was induced at 36 weeks a week ago and our baby girl was born on the 12.12.12 13:12 and all is very well we were out of hospital the next day but went back on the 15th because Baby was yellow but we were home again on the 17th and things are settling down and everything is ok now ! Looks like I just cant carry a full term baby my BP was again to blame she wasn't growing like she should and later on it would have been a bigger problem but she is very well.

I know some of you aren't mommies yet but maybe somebody would know. I am struggling with my breast milk and have to give her extra formula milk and I really don't want to I want to breastfeed only is there any advise to increase my milk.

Glad to hear all is well with all the mommies and I cant wait for the other baby's to come looks like we jump in front of everybody

Oh I forgot to say She was 2.5kg and 49cm long.
