Hi ladies

Hope you all had a good weekend? we had so much rain in Centurion, it was unbelievable!

Thanks Cherikey for the useful info... i see i am the last to be giving birth, hehehe. Lets hope thats not the case - FX! The antenatal classes advised on the perineal exercises, both times... but i never did it with my first - the thought of it grossed me out - and i managed fine - didnt tear or need stitches...

Where is everyone else that used to chat on here?

Also havent packed my bag yet. At least the move is happening this week - on Thursday and once we in i can FINALLY pack my bag! I am attaching the list we got from the hospital, that i also used last time. It was very handy indeed as i did pack anything extra...

All the preggy pics look FANTASTIC ladies!! Can you believe we are almost there - PHEW!

At Nadia - you so lucky to be on ML!!! Enjoy the rest while you can...

AFM - lots of swollen feet, almost daily still and still that pain down there! The classes gave some great advice for relieving the pain - and it works amazingly! The birthing ball is a must have hey!!!! We are 31 weeks today - have our 32 week scan next week Monday!! But still lots to do before then - include packing up a house and moving into the new place

My weekly pic of the tummy - dont have the guts to post such naked ones - have really bad stretch marks from first pregnancy!! Touch wood - none yet with this one!

Sma, it's very sweet of your son to want to see his sibling. My daughter always kiss my tummy when she greets me in the morning when she leaves for school or when I get back from work.

Hi Ladies

Hope you've all had a good week...

Are any of you struggling with sore feet? My right foot is becoming increasingly sore in the arch area but under my ankle bone area on the side if that makes sense? Especially if i've spent any amount of time on my feet that day...

I'm also battling with cramping in my legs at night, they all started after i went to the chiro... I think whatever she did has caused baby to be heavier on my blood supply which is giving me the cramps at night.

Today i've also been struggling with lower abdominal pain a lot...

OK, enough moans from me... So glad it's the weekend... I plan to pack my hospital bags this weekend.

BTW, my poor sister in law who is in Scotland and was 11 days overdue finally gave birth to a very healthy 4.2kg baby boy yesterday. By the sounds of things it was very traumatic & she's in a lot of pain. She went to the hospital at 10pm the night before and he was born at 8:30. They had to deliver him with forceps and cut her quite a bit. She still has her catheter in and she says she's very sore & swollen down there. So my question to you is this (especially you first time moms)... Are you doing/practicing perineal stretching? I remember reading about it with my first one, but it's basically where you insert your fingers and gently stretch everything down there. I don't think it would hurt, esp if you're expecting a bigger baby...

Hi Ladies!
Sorry i have been so quiet lately! Its been my second week at home since ML, but have been working my butt off, since its month end and VAT month...not much of a ML though

Everything is still good with me and the twins. Had my 32w scan today. Japie weighs 1.80kg and Emma weights 1.87kg.

I am SO uncomfy, its sooo difficult to get a good night sleep every night. My feet are swollen, its hot! My ribs are aching. But i guess i cant complain otherwise.

My CSEC date is the 3rd of January then i will be 38w4d, if everything goes as planned.

Sorry that I have been MIA... Been really busy at work with month end looming once again.

I went to the Gynie again this morning. I am 32 weeks.
Doc is really happy with our health. Baba is weighing 2kg. Doc says he thinks baba will weigh between 3.6kg and 4kg at birth seeing as he/she is picking up 200-250gr per week.

I am glad that you are having a new adventure with this pregnancy!
My hospital bag is almost finnished. Baba's stuff is all ready packed, but as I am still using a lot of my stuff, my bag is only halfway. Thinking of buying everything in small samples or extras so I can finnish my bag as well.

I am also having trouble with the nesting. Doc told me this morning that I need to start taking it easy, unless I want a christmas or newyears baba.

I am also still undecided about when I will actually be going on leave. But I think it is a bit different for me as I am working for Family business, so even when I go on leave I will still do some admin from home till baba arrives.

My SIL baught me one of those preggy pillows as I am having difficulty sleeping,
It is very comfy, But I am very hot at night, so sleep is still alluding me at the moment!
Other than that and the fact that baba is punching me "down there" to the point of me wanting to cry, I am doing very well!

Morning Ladies

I hope that most of you had a fairly reasonable nights sleep last night!

I'm 33 weeks today & can't believe i only have 7 weeks left. My friend is having a C/S this morning as her little man is slightly overdue and my SIL in Scotland is also overdue. Her little guy was due on the 10th of November. Being in the UK they don't C/S or induce untill you're like 11 days overdue. They've said they'll only induce her tomorrow night at like 7 in the evening. Poor thing is so tired!

So i've been thinking a lot of when things will happen for me. When i had my first LG i was induced at 35 weeks so i have no idea how things are supposed to progress normally and feel like i'm new at all this & it's quite exciting!

I wanted to know have any of you packed your hospital bags yet? It's the only thing left that i have to do and think i'm going to do it this weekend. With school holidays and Christmas coming up & all that stuff i don't want to leave it till later...

I'm so excited but scared at the new addition and all the extra responsibility that's going to add!
