Afternoon Mommies.

It's been a month since I've been here, but I've been reading all of your mail on my phone. Glad to hear all is doing well.

Cherikey. Hope you had a great holiday at the beach! I think everyone of us could have done with one of dose, So jealous  ! Thanks for the tips on what to pack for hospital, although I'm a second mom I have no idea what to pack for as my son was born very early and I had nothing ready not even a cot. Drive safely.

Snoekie. Hope the cramps are better now and the pic is very nice you are glowing and looking very happy. :)

Anthea. I think you are right on the being bigger the second time round and there is more aces and pains this time round also, maybe it is just because I'm 5 weeks further then with my son he was already here. With my sister in law I saw that she was in labour 18 hours with 1st born 7 with 2 born and only 3 with 3 born. Good luck with the packing and don't over do it!

Juwayraj. Shame :( sorry to hear You are feeling sick it is bad to have a flu on top of all the stuff going on with your body. I'm with you only 7 more weeks then we are done. :woohoo:

Tracyo. I do find people in general are kinder/considerate of the fact that one is pregnant especially family. I also find strangers are totally inconsiderate....

Sma. Welcome. Sorry to hear about your mc Hope all is going well fore you this time. I may sound stupid but what is this Genesis It sounds nice.

AFM. I'm 33 weeks on the dot. Yhhy :woohoo: :woohoo: only 7 weeks to go sounds so far but hope it fly by fast. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that haven't packed all the hospital bags and that every body is sore and uncomfortable it is good to hear you are not alone in the world.

I'm still tired all the time and the heartburn is making me feel sick  sometimes. Baba is doing very well she is 1.8 kg and kicking and moving a lot. My gynaecologist is seeing me every 2de week to make sure all is well this time round, but it is getting expensive for we have to pay in R 300 every time but it is worth it to have a healthy baby.

To say for the labour I was only 6 hours in labour everything happened fast hope this one will also be short.

Have a lovely weekend Mommies!!

Yes Trayco, my leg is also still sore :( and I totally agree with regards to this pregnancy taking it all out of you, same here... My SIL keeps on telling me that this baby/pregnancy is really messing me up...lol. We joke about it but seriously seems like the case with everything that's going on.

I am also glad that this is my last pregnancy :woohoo: :woohoo:
I dont see myself doing this again....ever!!

Anthea: I'm also hoping to take a short cut... having this baby at 38 weeks would be great :silly: But with my luck I'll probably wait the whole 40-42 weeks

With my daughter I was in labour for about 20/21hrs with my son about the same... it was really long  I'm just asking with the hope of someone telling me: Dont worry this one will only take 5mins

I'm only 32 and I keep on telling my hubby and colleagues that having a baby at this age was not a good idea! It seems this pregnancy is the worst...al die kwale...

I'm trying not to think of the labour and just basically preparing myself mentally and emotionally for when the baby is here and all the changes that comes with it. For now I spend most of the time with the kids and chatting to them about when the baby comes home.

I dont know what my son did this morning but then my daughter came to me with a big sigh saying: Mommy I've decided that Aunty Abby and Caleb (my SIL and her son) can have Jaymee, I dont want him for a brother anymore cos I have this one in your tummy  Im not sure how Jaymee feels about that arrangement but Azaria feels quite happy with her decision.

Hello everyone

Anthea - I feel for you with the packing/moving - it almost feels like too much for me right now.... I had planned to go on maternity leave on 20 Dec and then spend two weeks just relaxing by the pool with my LG... now who knows :S I do fortunately have some help so I will be doing lots of delegating

Juwayraj - I hope you feel better soon!!! I also woke in the early hours of this morning - both my calf muscles cramped.... it was not fun.... I hope this is not what we have to go through for the remaining 7 weeks....  my legs are still sore....

Cherikey - safe trip home!!! and enjoy your last day of holiday

AFM - I know how you guys feel - this pregnancy is taking it all out of me - knowing that this is my last pregnancy - I am trying to enjoy it  on that note I AM REALLY GLAD it is weekend :woohoo: :woohoo:

Do you find people in general are kinder/considerate of the fact that one is pregnant - I find that people I know are but most strangers I find are totally inconsiderate....

Enjoy your Friday & weekend!!!

Hi everyone...

Yes Anthea we are definately carrying bigger this time around. You say 2 and hald months? That sounds so far still...I'm counting the weeks backwards from my due date and it shows 7 weeks to go still!! :woohoo:

So sorry to hear about your loss Sma

Cherikey: I'm sure you are well rested and relaxed after your lovely week away...

Trayco: I hope you finish your work projects quick :) I also have some stuff to finish before I leave work. Everything is going good so far...I just hope I stay on track! Hope you guys find a place real soon :cheer:

AFM:

I'm still blowing my nose every 2minutes...
This morning I woke up with this cramp in my leg...I sure hope it doesn't happen again or more often. And then I'm just reminding myself everytime that its only 7 more weeks to go (hopefully) then I wont have to deal with the nausea (yes, I'm still nauseous everyday  ), No more uncomfortable sleeping, no cramps, no more running to the loo every 10 minutes...blah blah blah... Just me, hubby and kids enjoying the new addition

Just a quick question to those having vaginal birth...how long were you in labour for with your previous children?
