Thank you ladies! I am still in awe as to how alike the two sisters look, this one is the spitting image of her sister at the same age (30 weeks...) Pic attached of my fisrt born...

@Sma - get that shopping spree out of the way asap so hat you can concentrate on resting... You have to start taking it easy now... Its best to chat to the midwife re your maternity leave... Especially if you want to work till the end... All the best hey!

@tracyo - shame hun, and this heat doesnt help hey! I am in pain "down there" after lots of walking... Thinking of doing my shopping online hey - cant carry on like this anymore...

@Juwayraj - dont think you too much to worry about... If you couldnt keep it down, then so be it hey... Keep drinking the vits while breastfeeding, ensuring that baby gets the vits that way at least...

@Cherikey - lucky you to be coming to JHB for the Expo! I want to go the Friday afternoon. Also got free tickets in the Living and Loving... How long will you be up here?

Should we try and organise a get-together with all the PTA/JHB ladies for that Friday maybe?

AFM- OMG this heat is unbearable! As it is i am not sleeping at night cos the tummy and frequent loo trips, now i have to deal with the unbearable thirst that comes with the heat, so you drink water and that means you end up getting more often to pee - UURRRGGHHHH Last night i went to sleep on the couch - its the only comfortable place to sleep lately!!!

I'm still kinda undecided on my maternity leave....do I go at 36 weeks on the 14th of Dec...or do I just once go on the 21st the following week when our company closes anyways..... But ya my main concern right now is to just make it to these dates with baby still inside...

Loaves of bread...and I don't mean the square-ish shape...but that long garlic bread shape....that's my feet today....I now totally don't have ankles....Going to buy a new sandal after work, all the ones I have that we loose are now tight...

Thanks Tracyo....hope I don't go too crazy with the baby shopping it's so easy to buy things you don't need cos everything is sooo cute!!!!

Chrisy - welcome back it definitely helps knowing that there are others out there that know how we are feeling

juwayraj - I am glad you got some "me" time this weekend and the help with the washing of the baby clothes - good friends indeed!!!! You must be glad to have your mom around when baby comes

cherikey - I hope your week gets better!!! I am wishing most of these weeks away... You must enjoy the baby exp - we got some really good deals when they were in CT esp. at the Baby City stand... almost considered sending my SIL to the JHB one to get me some stuff....

Sma - I read your story on the VBAC thread and it really got to me and hugs for you - you just have to trust that you have made it this far and everything will go well!!! and when you do get to go, just enjoy your shopping spree buying all the cute little things for your LG

Kelz - glad to hear you are feeling better!! lucky you for at least have two names - my hubby and I have not gotten to any agreement yet on a name....

AFM - SAT we spent at Goudini braaing with my husbands colleagues - luckily not too stressful and yesterday we went for a nice breakfast and then headed off to do some grocery shopping - I felt so weak by the time we got to the shop I first had to rest.... needless to say we left without buying anything After resting at home and we then managed to see 3 show houses in the afternoon but after that I had had enough....

Sma I think you should take it easy from now on. When are you planning to go on maternity leave? I dont know about the engaging of the baby but I know for every pregnancy/person it's different.

Shame Kelz that could not have been nice ... I hated not holding anything down in the beginning with my MS also had to go on drip a few times due to dehydration - In my case the baby was also fine. and even though I didn't drink any water from May to about beginning of October , baby is growing well.


I'm actually just a bit concerned for the fact that I didn't drink any vits for the 1st 5 - 6 months of this pregnancy. With my other pregnancies I was very religous in taking them and my kids were super healthy, they still are! I wonder is it will make a difference in the health of this baby Does anyone know?

With regards to the names: I think I have a name in mind, JODY, just not sure if Hubby will agree to it.
My LG's names is Azaria Jessie and my LB is Jaymee Aiden...
Jessé would have been perfect for this one but then I found out that the dog over the road is called Jessé
Then Aiden would also have worked but EVERYONE calls my LB Jaymee-Aiden as if it's a double barrelled name which it's not or just Aiden...When you ask him his name he will say Jaymee-Aiden! So those 2 names are out...lol.
This is such a hard job for me

Hi Ladies

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.
I was sick from Wed to yesterday with Gastro (I should be an expert on this by now) so by Friday I was back on a drip for dehydration couldn't keep anything in, not even water! Luckily I seem ok now and baby is still as active as ever so is also ok.

WOW to the pics Anthea: they are amazing!!! I have my 4D scan booked for next Thurs and am literally bursting with excitement - I hope my little man plays along and gives us some nice pics too. I have noticed that as time goes on that the normal scan pics are just getting worse and you really cant make out much (I know it's harder as baby gets bigger) so to see him properly will be awesome.

Hubby and I have managed to get the "name list" down to 2 which is a huge thing because we were seriously in disagreement - now just to make the final decision...think it may be made once he arrives, but I'm ok with that I think!

Hope everyone has a great week further - the Monday blues are almost over along with Monday
