Finaly atarted on the baby room! Will post pics as soon as it is done.
I am really proud of myself as I have only spent R500 in total on the baby room, that was for the materials to build the changing station... I am revamping used items and reusing what we already have at home. I still have to buy a coulpe of things, so I think I will end up at about R1000 in total. And I have to finish the artwork for the walls.
Other than that I haave been great...

I have a couple of questions though. I am loosing feeling in my one hand. The joints aiche and I can't grip anything. Is anyone else experiencing this? The other thing I want to know are any of you getting strong enough kicks for hubby or other people to feel. My hubby is getting very impatient now, but baby is just not kicking strong enough for him to feel!

How are you doing Cherikey? How are the pains and heartburn? Mine is still the same hey, wont seem to be letting up anytime soon Hope this gynae works out for you hey, all the best with that!!

AFM: busy weekend agter die blad! Lots of family functions, and birthday parties! Am tired today! And my parents return to France today At least they return on the 21st of December for Christmas and a nice two month break - which will coincide with the birth of lit' Morgan!

Everyone have a good long weekend? As my hubby is away it was just my princess & I again and we had a great weekend of art, shopping, scrapbooking & going to the garden a leisure show...

So last week was a good week for me in the fact that i've finally decided to try a different gynae...

I can't tell exactly what's wrong with the current guy i'm seeing, there's just something that doesn't sit right so i've got my next appointment with a female next week. Med Aid have informed me the new lady charges 115% of MA rates whereas the old guy charges 244% of MA rates so that at least will be better... I just feel like he's not at all interested and is just biding his time till retirement... Like he couldn't care less... It might be a male thing vs female that i had the first time around, so we'll see...

Anyways, since making this decision and getting an appointment with her i'm very excited again, so we'll see how it goes!

25 weeks for me this coming week. Hope you all have a good one!

Just have to say though that everyone's pictures are gorgeous!

I really enjoyed the two week break.
My brother's little girl is too precious for words.
My mom held my baby shower while I was down in Cape Town, she went to a lot of trouble and made it very special. I mostly got toiletries and a lot of blankets. and my mom made a cake from disposible nappies, So I should be sorted for nappies at least for the first month, although I am really determined to use those Bam-Boo cloth nappies. I will come post some pics as soon as I have them.
My uncle also said that we can come and collect all my second cousin's old baby furniture, so that is such a HUGE blessing. We will be getting a wooden cot, camping cot, washing/changing station, pram, car seat. I really am so greatful for having family that can help us so much!

Hi Ladies...

Sorry to hear about the heartburn Cherikey hope it passed soon!

I only experience the occasional aches and pains now and then. Today my sister-in-law gave birth to a healthy baby boy after the sonographer told them it's a GIRL the whole while... Now everyone is telling me to go double check, lol.

My colleague just took a pic of me and my 24 week belly...
A friend of mine offered to take some preggy pics but because it's my 3rd child, I feel a bit uncomfortable as my body is (like I always tell my husband) "damaged" LOL Him and his wife had a baby 4 months ago and her pics came out quite nice!

Have a lovely weekend ladies...Cape Town will be HOT this weekend and I'l be attending a wedding tomorrow!!
