Good morning everyone

Snoekie,

I'm based in Nigel and maried for 6.5yrs and have a son of almost 6yrs. My son was premature he was only 1.3kg and 37cm bud he was healthy. The cause of prelabour was my high blood pressure. After a long wait and almost giving up we are expecting our girl on the 4th of January. I think that is most for now.

For the nappies, I don't know them so I will stick with Hugges for now.

Have a good and peacefull day everyone.

Kelz,
Jay for team blue! So glad to hear you are doing well!
My mom is also coming to stay with us for three weeks around baba's birth, BUT I am not prepared to get room ready once baby is there. The big reason for this is that I am also doing some painting and I want enough time for is to dry and so on. Good luck to you on getting the room ready!

Chrisy,
WELCOME! :woohoo:
Always nice when our little group grows. Tell us a bit more about yourself. Where are you based?

Cherikey,
We don't know the sex of baba. I LOVE surprizes!
Hope I don't have to wait too long before hubby can feel baba kick!
By the way, I had a good laugh at the bouncing remote video clip comment!

Just another question.
Is anyone else considering going with cloth nappies? Those pre-shaped ones. Bam Boo, bambinomio or one of the other brands?

Hi Everyone, 24weeks this week

Went for a scan last friday, babies are doing SO well, everything looks perfect. Japie weights 556g and Emma weights 593g already. I've notice that when i drink a vitamin shake for a snack, the babies picks up more weight.

Snoekie, as for the kicks, my uterus are under my ribs aleady, so i've been feeling STRONG kicks Hubby can aslo feel them if he puts his hand on my tummy.
I havent done anyting to the babies room yet...wil be doing it when i go on maternity leave, which will be at the end of Oct.

But here's a pic of baby bump at 23 weeks.

Good Morning Ladies.

Long time no speak..I've been a bit of a stranger to everyone recently for no other reason than life just taking over...

21 weeks today and we found out that we are team blue!! hubby is very happy about that - he gets his little Blou Bulletjie ;)

Its great to keep getting the good updates :-) so glad everyone's pregnancy seems to be going well. I am feeling good these days and am actually loving being pregnant despite the aches and pains I am already feeling (Dec is going to be an interesting month) Snoekie: the kicks are quite strong for me, but every time my husband comes near me, baby stops..I'm also hoping it will pass, because he pretends not to mind, but I can see the disappointing look in his face every time he cant feel him...
Cherikey: good luck with the new Gynie. It was my husband who used to have a problem with mine, but he is warming to her recently..think it might be because she actually remembers who we are now - lol
We are not going to "decorate" the baby room as such yet. We only have a two bed place and my mum is coming over from England for the birth or her first granchild so she will need somewhere to sleep. We will just keep baby in with us for the first 3 weeks that she is here and look into the room after that, although I am a little apprehensive about all the work we will be doing once the baby is here. Whats everyone's thoughts?

Hey Snoekie

No idea where the other ladies are...

Well done on the budget of the room, that's pretty good! I still have a lot to buy but want to wait for hubby to be home to do it with him (he's far more practical than me)... Lets see some pics of what you've done so far...

As for the kicking, mine are extrememly strong, so much so that i even recorded some video of the remote bouncing on my bump from the kicks... But this is my second so they come sooner than with the first, i also think girls kick softer as my LG never kicked this hard... Can't remember, what you having?

Anyways, the time will come...
