I've spotted stretchmarks on my sides and I was doing sooooo well!

Wawa is stil hanging in there, he was 1.1kg at out 28wk visit and I'm also getting the incredulous looks when I tell people Im only due in May. Sleeping has become a challenge- I have aches in parts of my body i didnt even know existed before

No i am lucky in that this is my second and i have yet to get a stretch mark... its the muscles that are aching from the sudden vast development of the belly...

mind you my darling DH couldn't resist the other day... i was getting into the shower and he asked me what was wrong with my toes... so me not thinking fast enough looked down to see what he was on about.... ROFL "Oh so you can still see your toes then" he pipes up....

Okay i admit i too laughed for the rest of the day... but really?

KerryA - thank you, have you tried Busy oils for the skin esspecially the tummy as it stretches, mine started itching from all the stretching and the oils are wonderful

my day so far is laid back, not much to do at work but what can i do coz going home is not an option

Want2bmomy i wouldn't worry, babies develop in different places at different stages, you will probably find your baby will have a growth spurt between this scan and the next.

Oh my word am i uncomfortable today, my belly is growing now at an allarming rate, its so bad that my colleagues keep asking if i am sure i will make it to May... its sore too from all the stretching, feels like i have a pulled muscle in there too....

Ah well such is life, hopefully it will slow down soon, or i will be big as a house by my next appointment!

I have a quick question. Went to the gynae yesterday for check up and I am confused. I am currently 24 weeks 6 days preggies, and my due date is 23 June 2013 (date given to me with 20 week scan). However when I went for fetal assessment at 12 weeks the due date was 18 June 2013. Which was would be more reliable?

Also during yesterday's scan, the stomach circumference and the lenght of the leg measured 24 weeks 4 days which is more or less accurate, however when my gynae measured her head it only measured 23 weeks 3 days? My gynae was not worried at all and he is very happy with her growth (her weight of 651 g is perfectly normal). Did this maybe happen to anyone of you?

So sorry about the cerclages girls, but at least they were detected in time and you get to keep your little ones safe.

Monique, I am sure the twins are fine, the fetal assessment is just a more detailed scan so really don't stress about it!

As for me i went for my checkup on the 26th of Feb and all is well Though baby was measuring at 28 weeks instead of 26 weeks... and 949g so really a rather big baby. But my gynea is happy and only wants to see me n a month again... so i go again on the 26th of this month...

And i have booked my complimentary 4D scan for the 25th of this month... my poor boss is going to be oh so confused!!!

COLS, hows your gal doing? I went through K's old stuff and sent you a list of the things on facebook if youre interested, if not let me know so i can fins a charity? Also i found some newborn clothes that would be for winter, which K never wore as it was unusually warm that august. Just shout.
