 HI ALL

WENT FOR MY CHECK UP YESTERDAY...THE AY I WAS CRYING...DOCTER SAID ONE OF THE TWINS IS A BIT BIGGER THAN THE OTHER IN WEIGHT. THEY ARE ATE THE SAME LENGTH ITS JUST THEIR WEIGHT...HE IS NOT EXTREMELY WORRIED BUT BECAUSE IT IS A HIGH RISK PREGNANCY HE IS REFERRING ME TO A FETAL MEDICINE SPECIALIST FOR A FETAL ASSESMENT.

I AM 21 WEEKS NOW AND THE GIRLS ARE BIG FROM WHAT I COULD SEE ON THE MONITOR. I WAS A BIT WORRIED BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT KICKED...BUT WHEN DOCTOR DID THE SONAR THEY WERE MOVING LIKE THEYHAD SUGAR RUSH LOL...HE EXPLAINED THAT BECAUSE ITS TWINS AND THE SPACE IS LIMITED BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO SHARE THEIR REAL ESTATE WITH THE PLACENTA,WHEN THEY KICK AND MOVE I WONT FEEL IT SO STRONGLY BUT IT IS NOTHING TO BE WORRIED ABOUT.

ALL IN ALL HE IS NOT TOO WORRIED AND HE FEELS THAT THE TWINS IS DOING WELL ITS JUST FOR PEACE OF MIND THAT HE WANTS ME TO DO THE FETAL ASSESMENT :) I CRIED JUST BECAUSE MY MATERNAL INSTINCT IS KICKING IN...WANTING MY CHILDREN TO BE HEALTHY

OTHER THAN THAT AND THE SWELLING FEET, ANKLES AND KNEES...IM DOING GREAT... :)

I PRAY FOR ALL OUR PREGNANCIES TO BE NORMAL WITHOUT COMPLICATIONS AND FOR OUR CHILDREN TO BE COVERED IN THE BLOOD AND SPIRIT OF OUR GOD

HAVE A GOOD WEEK LADIES :)

Hi ExcitedandScared,

I guess we can be greatful it was caught early enough and we've managed to have cerclages put in.

Bed rest is a pain - im bored midless. I refused to entertain the idea of a TV in our bedroom but right now im reconsidering it.. I'm doing some work from home but not a lot so its hard to keep me entertained.

Hang in there and Good luck with your appointment today! see my Dr next wk Fri.

Hi MamakaWawa, I didn't want to cause alarm myself, I had a strange discharge at 20 weeks and went to my gynae for it to be checked only to discover my cervix was funneling and my amniotic sac had moved through the funnel.

I was immediately admitted to hospital and had a cerclage placed. im on bed rest until 28 weeks Im currently 23 weeks.

Its not easy being on bed rest. How are you coping?

The funneling is closing slowly, I have a doc visit on Thursday to check how things are going.

Hi Ladies,

Its been a hectic two weeks on my part hence the silence. At our last checkup (24wks) my OB discovered that I had a little bit of cervical funneling. Had to have an emergency cerclage put in and have been on bedrest the past week and half. In fact Im on bedrest until Mid March. At my last checkup the stitch was holding well and funneling was almost gone but she is being cautious and keeping me on bedrest.

Im now 26wks and really really anxious :( but I know this little one will stay put!

Hope everybody elses bumps are progressing well!

   good morning all

Its Monday and one of THOSE days where you feel as though you cant face the world...."Monday Bluezzzzzzz"

Kerry thanks for the tip.....but now the itching stopped and has been replaced by swollen aching ankles and feet :swear:

All started Friday night out of the blue i looked down and first time ever in my life i had kankles.....
My entire weekend was spend in bed with my feet on pillows in the air but to no avail...last night they were still swollen.
This morning its looking better and i can see the shape of my feet again lol but its still aching.

Officially 20 weeks 1 day tody :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: but it seems their movement is not so frequent...is it because there is two and because space is running out? lol have a guynie check up next Monday...will keep u guys up to date...

Have an awesome week ladies!!!

Sorry Monique been getting a bit slack checking in here this week, i think it may be exhaustion... DH is working graveyard shift this week AAARRRGGHHH!!!!

So i gave the books a second try and indeed at the end of book one i was bawling like a child.. and desperate for the second... but you are right they do kinda drag a bit :-( at least it something different... I am usually a Stephen king gal myself... even got DH to read Duma Key... now thats an excellent book :-)

I think the dropped libido is like mine just a temporary lack of energy... let him enjoy it while it lasts :-) It will come back!

Cant help you with the itching... i know epsom salts baths come highly recommended to try help... i didn't get any strechmarks with my last pregnancy and while i did suffer itchiness it was only mild... so far no itchiness or strechmarks again...

But i can recomment Therific naturals pure-thaim bath salts they help immensely with fatigue and help relax the muscles, even though i am restricted to showering by my gynea i still cheat and have the occasional warm soak in some of these and inevitably a good welcome snooze.... :-)

I well have an awesome weekend!!!

Kerry i loved all three books....cried a bit at the end of first book...she such a stubborn girl...lol
Found Second and Third book a bit dragging...bit pedictable....but overall enjoyable....

On a different note....libido has dropped all of a sudden lol...think my husband is enjoying the time off lol.

tummy is getting very prominent now...but tummy starting to itch...using Palmers as the Happy event did not help with itch...have not noticed stretch marks as yet ;) anyone have other remedies or help for the itching of my stomach...i dont scratch
