If she says mama she definitely associates it with you. Apparently the first word is always dada so I don't think they associate that with dad. Lol

Oh wow that's so good that she stands up against everything. Hayden also now pulls up on us to get up. He hates lying down. Crawling has gotten faster but only when he wants to.

Emily & Hayden are so so cute, just look at those laughs!! Happy babies all around.

Maria is now 10 months and 6 days - she still stands up against everything but at least her knees are now part of the crawling - she doesn't leopard crawl that much anymore. She is trying to stand on her own. She is a real little clown - in the bath she gets up and lift up her arms and we then applaud, which only leads to more antics.

She has started to say mama, and I'm sure it might be directed at me, or I hope so. She is just getting too cute!!

Thought id come check our old forum out - nice to see activity

Hayden turned 9 months on the 11 November. His first tooth started making its appearance 2 weeks ago. Its his top tooth - still not fully out yet. Bottom tooth also coming out from last week.

He finally started crawling last Thursday. Very slowly and cute though.
He started saying da da da da beginning of October and says dada quite nicely now. don't think he associated dad with da da though. think its just the syllable more.

He loves his veggies I make him mixed with meat and loves his cerelac porridge. His mouth is always open - happy and smilling. so I go through a lot of bibs lol

Okay, here is my update

Emily is now (almost) 8 months old. STILL no teeth!! and still almost no hair
She is sitting really well, and moving around - but not anywhere near crawling yet.
Eating is going really well - she eats whatever I put in her mouth. LOVES her veggies and fruit (unlike her brother at that age).

My update: Maria is now 9 months and 2 weeks. She spent her 9th monthaversary in hosptial because she got Bronchiolitis from a classmate. It was terrible but Unitas Hospital has OK sleeping chairs for parents. We spent 5 days in hospital. She is out and doing better than ever. She now has 2 front teeth and 2 bottom ones and since they are aligned, she chomps down on stuff (such as nipples).

She is standing up against EVERYTHING. She crawls (or rather, leopard crawls as she doesn't use her knees very often) to everything, sits up and up she goes.

She has started saying BABABA and we were super excited about that!

AND a huge congratulations on the pregnancy!! I kinda feel a tinge of jealousy.... At first we said we would only have 1 child but I realised that it has been my hearts desire to have atleast 2 childern. So we are planning to start with nr 2 just after Eumari's first birthday

Any other mommies planning on a nr 2 soon?
