@ Missy - so sorry your appointment didn't go the way you had hoped. At the end of the day what matters most is that baby gets here safely. I do hope that you manage to do it the way you want to though!

@ Jeanine - I went on Monday afternoon and bought a few essentials (baby grows, vests etc for the hospital bag) but haven't had a chance to put it all in the washing machine!! I am so slack.

@ Mrs TL - are you not working now?

@ Happyness - welcome back! Sucks about the Puppp rash - I was actually reading about that yesterday and thinking how horrible and uncomfortable it sounds. I really hope you find some relief... that as the cherry on top is really not ideal!

Is it odd that I'm not excited? I feel like maybe when I feel more ready I'll be more excited... and I feel bad for feeling so 'neutral' about everything... Seeing doc jusnow - maybe I should ask her?

I am back from holiday. So glad to see that everyone is doing fine.

Hopeful - cant wait to hear the news and see some pics of your girlies!

On my side everything is going well just a bit tired and struggling to sleep at night. I have a puppp rash thats been going on for about 3 weeks now and it itches like crazy! Wakes me up atleast 3 times a night to scratch. It is al over body and not sure how much longer I will be able to cope with it. Apparently there is no cure and it will go away within 2 weeks after birth. I am using creams and ointments to help with the itch (not extremely effective though ) Doc said that the next option would be oral medication but I am not willing to take that risk with baby. other than that everything is going very well.

Eumari's room is ready and I have washed all her clothes and blankets. My bags are also packed and ready.

I just have this feeling that she will arrive by end of the month... Really cant wait to hold my little princess!!

Went for my scan yesterday and everything is going well, she is now weighing 2.6kg

Jeanine, do I remember correctly in that you're going to give birth at Genesis? That must be such an amazing experience! I share your tiredness with you - today I just slept and read.

I am sooo excited to hear about Hopeful's delivery and keep on checking the feed every couple of hours.

Well i met the new gynae yesterday and even though he says his all for VBACs etc i just feel that he was very negative with me

He kept talking about my first birth and how he wonders why i couldn't birth a 2.5kg bby - (well i feel i was bullied into that caesar i wasn't even given time).

Baby is weighing 1.8kg and he said that if i carry to term then it will be a big baby and the risks are very high because i couldn't birth a small baby and i must prepare myself for a caesar as well

I'm feeling soooo sad and despondent, i burst into tears when i left his office. I don't want to be robbed of a natural birth the second time. i don't want to be bullied. My heart is soo sore. I just praying that God grants me this normal birth

Not next year anymore, THIS year!!

I got to rest a bit the two days before Christmas - DH was working, and son was visiting Ouma . Last week I was back at work again, but it was very quiet here, so wasn't too bad.

I'm planning on working as late as possible - so for now my last working day is 21 Feb, so 38 weeks . Hope I can make it that far!!

My hospital bag at least has the essentials in - keep adding things as I get them. Baby's bag I still need to start - but the clinic gives all the essentials, so I just need to pack clothes, blankets etc.

I've been slowly (emphasis on SLOW) washing all the neutral clothes that I kept from my first baba (some were a bit stained), and was just waiting for the scan to confirm girl before washing all the new stuff.
Bought the baby washing powder yesterday, so will start washing baby's clothes as soon as I have some energy!!

I just don't have energy anymore!!! I can only do one thing at a time, and then I have to rest first. We went shopping for car seats on Saturday, and I nearly died!! I don’t need a pram, but I need two seats, one for me and one for father-in-law (who will be looking after her). Found a few I liked but they are ALL boy colours! Nobody has any girly (or even neutral) colours in stock!!!!!

So, more shopping planned for next weekend....

AFM im seeing my new gynae today.... Abit nervous, hoping and praying he is pro natural and is very much for this VBAC...

Gosh the time is flying we all will be popping in the next couple of weeks.

Im planning on going on maternity leave mid Feb - hope all works out.
