So glad the silence is being broken here! Need to hear from some other preggo's!!

Did everyone have a lovely Christmas and New Year with their families?

Hopeful - again - yay!

Izzles - what do you do? Are you a wedding coordinator? As Mrs TL says, I don't know how you are doing it and with such positivity, all I know is that I am unlikely to be enthusiastic about moving at all within a week or so, I'm sure!! Tomorrow will be a month till your due date - do you think you will make it till then or do you think your bubs will arrive early?

Mrs TL - one more week till you get to snuggle with baby Maria!! Are you stressing? I still have weeeeks to go and I'm already in stress mode!! Enjoy your last pedi! I am going for one this afternoon too. Can't believe how quickly you go from being able to reach your feet to only noticing them when they're propped up in front of you on the couch..
As for the stretch marks, I am waiting for mine to appear. Practically drinking bio oil but as you say, if you're going to get them, you're going to get them.. there is really nothing you can do!

Spent New Years in the hospital. Blegh. Woke up on Tuesday morning at 1am with terrible pain in the lower right of my belly. Didn't know what to do with myself... and couldn't stop shaking (my teeth were chattering so badly I kept holding my jaw closed to try stop it - is funny now thinking about it). After an hour of trying desperately to find a position or way of relieving the pain and being sure I was going to throw up, DH convinced me to go to the hospital (my doc was overseas and I didn't have a back up contact). Turns out I had a really bad Kidney Infection so was admitted straight away and then pumped with all sorts of things for 2 days. Got to go home on Thursday afternoon.
Was quite a shock - them doing all they could to stop me from going into labour. I was only 30 weeks and we are so NOT ready and really hadn't thought about what we would do if she came early! I don't have one baby grow or nappy! So this experience has been a kick in the butt!!
Will have mine and Nuggets hospital bag sorted by the end of this week and we are buying the travel system on Saturday. My DH is pretty clueless so I want to try have as much sorted as soon as possible. I've told him that if we do go into labour and aren't ready, he is to call certain friends who will know exactly what we need and will help him.
I was supposed to work until mid Feb at least, as I'm only due 12th March... but on the way home from the hospital he told me "Definitely stop working end of Jan, I don't think your body is coping with this pregnancy very well". I was a bit offended to be honest.. I thought I was doing well... Oh well. Best I find a hobby in case she does only arrive in March!

Hopeful, I am sooooo excited for you! I will be thinking of you the whole day tomorrow!! Meeting your precious twins in one sleepie!!

I also went for my last appointment this morning and all is set for my c-section next week Tuesday, so your babies and Maria will only be a week apart! I'm on maternity leave already so going for my last pre-baby pedicure in an hour.

Izzels, it seems as if your little man is set for your natural birth, I'm still a bit bummed that my placenta didn't work with me for mine but have made peace with the c-section. I'll hold thumbs for you that he'll wait for you to finish the weddings, although, I don't know where you get the energy for that at this stage!! You are so much in my thoughts with running up and down and carrying him these last couple of weeks!! How are the hypnobirthing classes going?

Jeanine and Nics - gorgeous pics!! Any updates? Jeanine, did you manage to rest a bit? You seem to be working like crazy and with all of the overseas colleagues and so on...

Missy, have you seen your new gynae yet? Is he pro-VBAC like we're hoping with you?

Why is everyone else so quiet? Just an update - I've finally, in the last weeks, gotten my stretch marks - I can therefore confirm that no amount of any lotion or oil applied however liberally will keep them away. I'm kind of proud of them right now still and my DH, who is the best ever, says that he loves it as well. I'm still a bit emotional and for some reason quite needy right now but I think it is the fear of the unknown. Anyways, the bag is packed (have been repacked 3 times now) and Maria's room is done. The cot is the same one that my DH slept in as a baby so it is very sentimental to us. We also went over the weekend and bought a nappy bin and a babysense sling so I think we're set.

Ok, I'm off now to get my swollen feet done - can't wait to reach them again!

oh my gosh Hopeful!!!!!! Can't imagine how you must be feeling!!

Izzels that is really cute and yes not long now and your little one will also be here.

Okay just a quick update as I have a few things to get through today. I saw the dok this morning and both babies are 2.3kg and I will have my C-Section Tomorrow ( the 7th of Jan ) it will only be in the late afternoon so I will only update on Wednesday. I have lots of mixed feelings but super excited.

HOpefull. as I was reading and catching up I felt anxious to think I might have missed your birth.. but, PHEW! Luckily you're still going strong Cant believe its literally next week for you. Hope you're doing ok wth the rest and that you can hold out till then.

Jeanine & Nics.. How precious that both your babies are in the same position on the 4D wth hands and feet in front of their faces. Im so bummed that I never got round to doing 4D.. Oh wel, it'll be a surprise then.

AFM - Im doing fine still, no major hiccups, but I can clearly feel the last week that everything is getting heavier. Little man is lying head down and spine to the left facing backwards. I can feel his little feet kicking me in the right top corner. so cute! Cant wait to meet him!!
I have 2 weddings still, so Im just hoping and praying he's be patient for me to finish them. Due date is on 7 Feb..

I started my maternity leave on the 2nd of jan so posting from my phone. Sorry no personals its tricky on the phone i see the doc on monday 6 jan and then we will set a day for the c wil update then
