Hi Ladies,
Shame jeanine, you're probably praying that these 2 weeks will fly by. Being used to work till 4:30 and then having to stretch it to 6 is not lekker.
On the name front. Oooi any of you also struggling with this? Before I got pregnant we have always said our little boy will be called "Wilhelm" as it is a family name of my husband and his dad. My husband isn't called that though, otherwise I wouldn't have considered it, 2 of the same names in 1 house.. nope. But now as it's coming down to giving my son his name.. his forever name, I'm finding it so difficult! So many things to think of, how people might shorten it, how it will be pronounced, will he struggle with people not being able to pronounce his name etc.. Anyway, my husband is set on the name, but I'm the one going back n forth. I on the other hand like a strong Afrikaans name for my son, but as it is a family name I don't want to announce it to the family and then at the last minute I change my mind...That just won't be fair. So I think I'll know when I see him. I hope?! haha!
Love the names coming forth of all of you.. I love that we can start naming our babies

Mrs Tl I love the name Maria, it just sounds so soft and gentle for your girl.
Belinda, your kids are lucky to have such progressive names!
Happyness - Love the idea to combine your and your husbands names. It will always have special meaning to you.
How are the rest of you girls nurseries going? I must admit mine is still just an empty room

All my babyshower gifts and babyclothes are still just in the wrapping. waiting for the furniture and then will unpack.
I got a great tip from my sister to just wash and remove the tags of newborn and small clothes and leave the tags of all the other clothes, as babies grow so quickly you always hear people say they have loads of clothes their babies never even wore. So as your child grows, you can wash it and if it doesn't fit, you can exchange it! Think this is the route I will go..
