Wow so nice to come back to so many updates to read!

Hopeful!! Im sooo happy you are in your brand new OWN home. I can just imagine how happy you are. living with parents / inlaws for such a long time.. you need a medal my dear!! haha!
Your room looks so serene and calm and nice to see the girls have so many friends already (all the animals on the bed)
My friend who had her twin girls also had them in 1 cot at the beginning. Oh they are SO small they even slept sideways in the cot for at least a month, next to each other. and they were born at 36weeks. So if your babies arrive so early, they'll be tiny! Holding thumbs they'll stick out for as long as possible in mommies "oven"

Mrs TL - oh Im so sad with you about the placenta and having to miss out on your natural birth. BUT atleast it is something that you really cannot change and you really do not have any other choice. You know me and my hipnobirthing fantasy of natural birth (haha!), but if is was me, placenta previa will put my mind and heart totally at ease and peace with C-section. At least now you are lucky to be able to plan everything and know exactly when to expect baby!

Trudie - lucky you to have 2 babyshowers MIne was also on that weekend, 10th of Nov.

AFM: I've really been so lucky to have no hiccups during this pregnancy. Just that pubic pain for about 3 weeks during 2nd trimester, but never again. I must say, the only thing really bugging me at this stage is the constant urge to pee!! then I get a few drops out, 10mins later when Im walking, there it is again, feel like I just drank a liter of water. sheesh!
Also the last week have started to feel 'n pinch in my back, like a nerve pinch, it usually is worse when I sit for a long time. So once again.. better get my sluggish bum up and start moving!!

Im also concerned that this little man wont turn, but then I think to myself, stop being paranoid!! It feels sometimes as if he's head is down, as I can feel small movements like hands down there, I can also feel a clear "bulge" which I think is his little bum ont the top right. But then other times. I swear he is lying in a horizontal position.. Is this possible? well, if he is then he still has enough room to move, he better be a good boy and move into the correct position before time runs out! hehe.

Mrs TL ; Trudie and Most probably Hopeful.. Cant believe you guys are having your babies in January. ITS NEXT MONTH!!!! these 9 months have gone by SO quickly! Feels like yesterday when we were waiting "till next month" just for a scan. Now it's waiting till next month for their birthdays!

Hi There, yes it has been quiet.

Mrs TL that is great and not a lot left to buy!!! so exciting!!!

I am still struggling with pram options for the twins, the side by side one does not fit through doors and the back to back is too long to fit in my car so I am a bit stuck!!!!! will see what we do. I have bought the car seats through.
Saw the Doc yesterday and the babies are doing excellent. They way 1.2kg and 1.1kg but the doc thinks the one of 1.1kg is actually a bit bigger and she only measures smaller as she is lying funny.
He said that even for single babies this is a VERY healthy weight so he is totally shocked that the twins are this big at this stage as they normally are smaller.
Again they measure almost a week older than gestational age.
All thee of us are healthy and happy and now simply it start becoming a waiting game as we expect these babies by anytime from 30 weeks.
We have been joking that people will have to start putting their bets as to when they think the babies will arrive hahah
On a crappy not I have found my first stretch marks really not happy about this but agh there is nothing I can do except keep moisturising like crazy hopefully they remain to a minimum.

Getting very quiet here!! How is everyone? Izzels, haven't heard from you in ages as well!

I've just heard that my sister is planning my baby shower all the way from the US where she lives. I was feeling very sorry for myself thinking I'm not having one. The only shopping to do now is the pram / stroller / travel system or whatever you call it and a moses basket or crib to keep in our room. O yes, and of course the baby room curtains and bedding.

Otherwise, I'm running to the loo with lots more frequency nowadays and I'm also feeling tired very soon and my back is sore. Anyone else with this?

Ok, let me get back to work, only 3 more weeks then I start maternity leave

Hi girls,
I have been on training and quite busy at work, so missed a couple of weeks on the forum. Glad to hear all the progress and babies are growing nicely. My last check up was last Thursday and Jade weighed 1.9kg (doubled in size in one month). It is now 8 more weeks to go before my c-section on the 21 Jan. My friends gave me my babyshower on the 9th Nov and it was so nice. I really felt spoilt, then last week - I was surprised at work with another one. Now i just need to go buy a pram and some bits and pieces. Not sure how much clothes I'll need, so perhaps a few more items. A friend of mine painted Jade's room with a tree and her name and it looks soo lovely. I've unpacked all the clothes, but still need to wash it. I received a lot of blankets and bibs!
I agree with twins sharing a kot in the first few months, until they are too big to share. My friend did that and it is very special.
A colleague of mine gave birth last week @ 36 weeks. Baby is in ICU with pnemonia and she had an emergency ceaser because of infection. Things don't always work out the way you plan it and it was one of the first lessons I learned as a new mom with my lb. We have to be flexible and accept if your delivery is not as planned.

Happyness, I am so glad that Eumari is growing like that, it all seems very positive. I am sure that she'll turn around for her mommy when the time is right. She's perhaps just strong willed

My tiredness is also back, and the heat is killing me. I am sitting with the aircon or "arctic" in the office at the moment.

Mrs TL - very sorry to hear about the placenta previa. With me my baby has been in breech position everytime I went to see my gynea so far. We are hoping that she will turn in time to enable normal birth.

I went to see my gynea this morning - Eumari is doing very well and now weighs 1.3kgs! Will be visiting him again on 20 December

Can feel the tiredness coming back in this 3rd trimester but keeping strong
