my hospital where im giving borth only have evening classes so had to look else where.

Enjoy them. they long but such excellent information for first time moms. plus they have lovely snacks and tea so i was very happy and a lovely little goodie bag. lol

Oh yes, I forgot.. Marley, I think we're going for a similar antenatal class on the 23rd. We're also going from 08:00 to 15:00 on the Saturday.

Is yours with a Netcare Hospital Storks nest? We're going to Unitas because my Gynae is there and that's also where I'm giving birth.

Hopeful, I feel for you as well, not moving in after waiting so long.. sterkte!!! Also, don't unpack all the boxes by yourself!!

I was 30 weeks last week (the 8th) and from hereon I have to see the gynae every 2 weeks. My next app is the 22nd.

Ladies, I have to fly for work quite regularly and my doc gave me the all clear until 32 weeks. Yesterday I had to go to Cape Town and back - left at 6 yesterday morning and the flight back was at 6:30 last night. We couldn't land in Jo'burg due to the storm so we were in holding. I was wiped out last night, and this morning I am stiff and sore and out of sorts. Apparently my body doesn't want to spend 5 hours sitting down anymore.

Oh yes, by the way, is anyone suffering from Insomnia? I know it is normal to get up a million times a night to shuffle to the bathroom, but I just cannot fall asleep and stay asleep.

Its been hectic for us the last few weeks. Hubby got a new job.......in Ghana so me and the girls will be spending xmas all allone. My heart is in pieces but this is something my husband has been waiting for a very long time and i am going to support him. We can skype every day so that give me some hope to get thru every 3 months he wil be there. And for every 3 monts he will be 1 month at home. They said he can come back early for delivery. I just hope he dont miss it cause our other 2 girls both came 3 weeks early.

Hopeful with my first i didnt do the 2 weeks check-ups. I had a normal Gp and i didnt know i had to go for it. With my second i went for the 2 weeks from 8 months and from 9 months its every week. Went for my first week check-up and my gynea said oh no this little girl is on her way. Was about 2cm and the monday he did the c-section just in time. Had bad contractions that morning.

So our next scan and 4D is 2 Dec. Hubby will be flying a week after that . I am busy washing carpets, walls and windows. Redoing every rooms. Family will be taking turns vissiting till hubby gets back. Going to enjoy the company cause at the moment i am all by mysellf every day till i have to pick up the girls from school.

You guys must enjoy the rest of the week and weekend. I am off to cut off all my hair. Its just to hot these days. 30cm of hair off. Will miss it but cant take this heat anymore.

Not a second time mom but my docs has given me all my appointment dates till baby is born.

My every 2 week visits start from beginning of Jan. and the last 2 visits are a week apart

Hi, Its been quiet here? How is every one doing? From me not much news except that we are not moving this weekend AGAIN!!!!!!! It will have to be next weekend. I am so sick and tiered of these builders but hey what can we do?
Other than that really not much news looking forward to my next scan at 28 weeks on the 28th of November. For the second time moms when do we start seeing the doc every 2 weeks?

Went to antenatal classes on the weekend with DH - was from 8 30 till 3pm.

was very long but very informative. especially on breast feeding. showed us videos which is better than explaining.

Our 4D scan is next week - 20th - cannot wait for that.

Baby has been kicking up a storm though in my belly. was actually amazing. when i lifted my top i could actually see my skin moving as he kicked. very special moment.
